How to Dance & Emote in Anthem
While simple, unique gestures and dances are very appealing to gamers as of late, as these actions allow them to convey various expressions in-game alongside the gameplay. If you need a good example of this, look no further than games like Fortnite and Destiny, as each feature plenty of emotes that allow players to show off a range of emotions without even speaking.
But just because it’s common, it doesn’t mean that every game allows its players to use gestures, something that many found out recently in Apex Lengeds, the highly popular Battle Royale shooter. Luckily for Anthem players, BioWare is well aware of how important it is to let users show off their character’s personalities.
In order to start boogieing though, you’ll have to follow a few steps first. Here is everything you need to know about how to dance and emote in Anthem.
Xbox One, PS4, PC Emoting
Depending on what you’re playing Anthem on, you can emote a few different ways. Below, we specify exactly how to dance and emote for each different platform:
- Xbox One:Â D-pad left, down, and rightÂ
- PS4:Â D-pad left, down, and rightÂ
- PC : period, comma, and /
For console players emoting is pretty simple, as all you have to do is use the d-pad, with different gestures being assigned to each one of the different directions. PC players just need to press period, comma, and / simultaneously to emote.
In order to change the specific gestures you have, all you have to do is go through Animations on the Appearance tab from the Forge. Now that you know how to dance and emote, head out there and dance on the graves of your enemies.
