It’s a new month, which means there are new animals and critters for players to catch in Animal Crossing New Horizons. If you’re looking to complete your Critterpedia, you’ll definitely want to keep an eye out for the new bugs and fish that show up on your island. Here’s everything you need to know about the Venus’ Flower Basket in Animal Crossing New Horizons, including how to catch it and how much it sells for.
Venus’ Flower Basket Spawn Times and Location in Animal Crossing New Horizons
The Venus’ Flower Basket was introduced with the first summer update, when diving got added into the game. Depending on which hemisphere your island is located in, you may or may not be able to catch it. We’ve listed its availability down below for both the northern and southern hemispheres:
- Northern hemisphere: October to February
- Southern hemisphere: April to August
This means that at the time of writing, only northern hemisphere players will be able to catch it unless you plan on time traveling. The good news is that the Venus’ Flower Basket is available at all times throughout the day, so you won’t have to worry about needing to log in at a specific time in order to catch it.
Location
The Venus’ Flower Basket is a sea creature in Animal Crossing New Horizons, which means that you’ll need to dive underwater to catch it. Put on your swimsuit and snorkel and head to the water, and then look out for a medium-sized shadow underwater.
Once you see a medium shadow with regular bubbles on the surface, dive down to catch it and with any luck, you’ll have gotten yourself a Venus’ Flower Basket.
Sell Price
The Venus’ Flower Basket is one of the rarer sea creatures you can get in the game, and it sells for quite a bit of money as well. If you take it to Nook’s Cranny, you’ll be able to get 5,000 Bells for it. But as always, don’t forget to donate one to the museum for your collection first.
That’s all you need to know about how to get the Venus’ Flower Basket in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
