Getting the King Tut Mask DIY Recipe in Animal Crossing New Horizons

The King Tut Mask is a new piece of headwear that you can craft in the game, and it’s definitely worth getting. The only issue is that this isn’t a recipe that you can get from crafting, villagers, balloons, or bottled messages.

Instead, you have to find a gold nugget by hitting rocks with your shovel. Once you get a gold nugget, your character will think for a moment and come up with the recipe.

The King Tut Mask recipe is pretty simply, and only requires five gold nuggets to craft, and you can do that at any crafting table around you.

Aside from just being a fancy headpiece, this mask does come with a funny side effect as well. When you put it on, there’s a chance that you could trip and fall whenever you’re running around. This doesn’t really affect anything gameplay-wise, but it’s still a pretty funny animation nonetheless.

One thing to be aware of is that if you happen to be holding a balloon from Redd’s raffle, you will lose the balloon if you trip and fall. Balloons are pretty easy to come by, though, so that’s not too big of a loss.

That’s all you need to know about how to get the King Tut Mask DIY recipe in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
