Currently, Blizzard has confirmed that the game will have eight new maps. While all of their exact layouts and oddities haven’t been detailed as of yet, we at least know that they’ll take place in the following locations:

  • New York City
  • Toronto
  • Rome
  • Portugal, Esperança
  • Rio de Janeiro

It has also been confirmed that New York City and Rio will be hybrid maps. This means that both will focus on the capture the point-based Assault feature before transitioning into an Escort objective when the first checkpoint is taken. Toronto and Rome will also be Push focused.
