All Danganronpa Characters: The Ultimate Cast Directory and School Secrets Strategy Guide

Know your Monomis from your Monokumas

When I first booted up the original game on my PlayStation Vita, I was instantly sucked into the bizarre, high-stakes psychological battlefield of Hope Peak Academy. The series thrives on its unforgettable cast, but if you have been trying to keep track of every student across this sprawling, multi-game franchise, you know how easily the details can blur.

Over my years of completing 100% achievements, analyzing developer source code, and tracking down every hidden present, I have noticed that basic character lists online completely miss the deep mechanical and spatial secrets that actually define this series. That is why I wrote this definitive directory. We are going to look beyond basic biographies to explore hidden biometrics, asymmetric room layouts, courtroom spatial designs, and the actual mathematical formulas running the game loops behind the scenes.

Trigger Happy Havoc Character Database: Class 78 Biometrics and Vocal Cast

The students of Class 78 are the tragic pioneers of the first killing game. When I navigate the menus in my e-Handbook by pressing the Triangle button on my controller, I can pull up their official student profiles. However, as an active player, I quickly realized that the official character weights provided by the developers are biologically bizarre.

If we calculate the Body Mass Index values for these characters, nearly every single female character falls into a clinically severe underweight category. For instance, the ultimate soldier Mukuro Ikusaba has an official weight of only 44 kg, giving her an impossibly low body mass index of 15.4, which is physically incompatible with the bone density required for military operations.

Here is the complete biometric and vocal cast profile for every member of Class 78:

  • Makoto Naegi: The Ultimate Lucky Student who eventually claims the title of the Ultimate Hope. Standing at 160 cm and weighing 52 kg, Naegi has a healthy body mass index of 20.3. His birthday is February five, his blood type is A, and his chest measurement is 75 cm. He is voiced by Megumi Ogata in Japanese and Bryce Papenbrook in English.
  • Kyoko Kirigiri: The Ultimate Detective who acts as your vital logical partner. She stands at 167 cm and weighs 48 kg, resulting in an underweight body mass index of 17.1. Her birthday is October six, her blood type is B, and her chest size is 82 cm. She is voiced by Yoko Hikasa in Japanese and Caitlin Glass in English.
  • Byakuya Togami: The Ultimate Affluent Progeny who acts as your initial intellectual rival. He stands at a tall 185 cm but weighs an incredibly light 68 kg, yielding a body mass index of 19.7. His birthday is May five, his blood type is B, and his chest size is 81 cm. He is voiced by Akira Ishida and Jason Wishnov. In my personal gameplay runs, I always felt his character model looked far too lanky for those stats, and community adjustments suggest a realistic weight closer to 73 kg would match his tall frame.
  • Toko Fukawa: The Ultimate Writing Prodigy who struggles with severe social anxiety and harbors a dark split personality. She stands at 164 cm, weighs 47 kg, and has a body mass index of 17.5. Her birthday is March three, her blood type is O, and her chest size is 79 cm. She is voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro and Amanda C. Miller.
  • Aoi Asahina: The Ultimate Swimming Pro whose upbeat energy keeps the group together. She is 160 cm tall and weighs 50 kg, giving her a healthy body mass index of 19.5. Her birthday is April 24, her blood type is B, and her chest size is 88 cm. She is voiced by Chiwa Saito and Cassandra Lee Morris.
  • Yasuhiro Hagakure: The Ultimate Clairvoyant who is comically bad at predicting the future. He stands at 180 cm and weighs 71 kg, giving him a body mass index of 21.9. His birthday is July 25, his blood type is B, and his chest size is 82 cm. He is voiced by Masaya Matsukaze and Kaiji Tang.
  • Sayaka Maizono: The Ultimate Pop Sensation who forms an instant, tragic bond with Makoto. She stands at 165 cm and weighs 49 kg, resulting in a body mass index of 18.0. Her birthday is July seven, her blood type is B, and her chest size is 83 cm. She is voiced by Makiko Ohmoto and Dorothy Elias-Fahn.
  • Leon Kuwata: The Ultimate Baseball Star who secretly dreams of abandoning sports to become a punk rock musician. He stands at 175 cm and weighs 67 kg, giving him a body mass index of 21.8. His birthday is January three, his blood type is O, and his chest size is 86 cm. He is voiced by Takahiro Sakurai and Grant George.
  • Chihiro Fujisaki: The Ultimate Programmer whose gentle, timid personality hides a brilliant mind and a deeply touching backstory. Chihiro stands at 148 cm and weighs 41 kg, with a body mass index of 18.8. Chihiro was born on March 14, has blood type O, and a chest size of 70 cm. Chihiro is voiced by Koki Miyata and Dorothy Elias-Fahn.
  • Mondo Owada: The hot-blooded leader of the Crazy Diamonds biker gang. Mondo stands at 187 cm but has an official weight of only 76 kg, which is shockingly low for his muscular build. His body mass index is 21.7. His birthday is June nine, his blood type is O, and his chest size is 86 cm. He is voiced by Kazuya Nakai and Keith Silverstein.
  • Kiyotaka Ishimaru: The comically rigid Ultimate Moral Compass who demands absolute order. He stands at 175 cm and weighs 66 kg, giving him a body mass index of 21.5. His birthday is August 31, his blood type is B, and his chest size is 79 cm. He is voiced by Kosuke Toriumi and Sean Chiplock.
  • Hifumi Yamada: The Ultimate Fanfic Creator who is passionately obsessed with 2D culture. He stands at 170 cm and weighs 155 kg, resulting in an extreme body mass index of 53.5. His birthday is December 31, his blood type is A, and his chest size is 150 cm. He is voiced by Kappei Yamaguchi and Lucien Dodge.
  • Celestia Ludenberg: The ruthless Ultimate Gambler whose gothic lolita design features twin clip-on spiral pigtails concealing a normal black bob cut. She stands at 164 cm and weighs 46 kg, giving her a body mass index of 17.1. Her birthday is November 23, her blood type is B, and her chest size is 80 cm. She is voiced by Hekiru Shiina and Marieve Herington.
  • Sakura Ogami: The Ultimate Martial Artist whose massive muscular frame protects her friends. She stands at 196 cm and weighs 99 kg, giving her an athletic, muscle-bound body mass index of 25.8. Her birthday is September 13, her blood type is O, and her chest size is 110 cm. She is voiced by Kujira and Jessica Gee-George.
  • Junko Enoshima: The Ultimate Fashionista who secretly operates as the mastermind behind the entire tragedy. She stands at 169 cm and weighs 45 kg, which gives her an incredibly low body mass index of 15.8. Her birthday is December 24, her blood type is AB, and her chest size is 90 cm. She is voiced by Megumi Toyoguchi and Amanda C. Miller.
  • Mukuro Ikusaba: Junko’s older twin sister who acts as her physical proxy while disguised as the fashionista. She stands at 169 cm and weighs 44 kg, with a body mass index of 15.4. Her birthday is December 24, her blood type is A, and her chest size is 80 cm. She is voiced by Megumi Toyoguchi and Amanda C. Miller.

Decoding the Hope Peak Academy Dorm Rooms Layout and Asymmetric Clues

During my first playthrough of the investigation phase, I realized the first-floor corridor of the dorms, which the game files call the Despair Hotel, is an architectural trap. The rooms are completely soundproofed to isolate students, but the physical construction of these rooms contains deliberate gender-based asymmetries.

These spatial details serve as critical clues during the investigation of Sayaka Maizono’s murder in Chapter one. If you pay close attention to the structural layout, you can easily crack the case:

  • The Bathroom Lock Defect: Girls’ ensuite bathrooms are built with fully functional interior door locks. Boys’ bathrooms are built completely without locks. This is why Sayaka Maizono swapped rooms with Makoto Naegi. She wanted to trap her victim, Leon Kuwata, but was unaware that Leon would utilize Makoto’s toolkit to dismantle the door handle.
  • The Drawer Toolkits: Every female student’s desk drawer is pre-stocked with a high-end sewing kit containing an anatomical map of human vital organs. Male students receive a mechanical toolkit with screwdrivers and hex keys.
  • Makoto’s Doorframe Malfunction: Unlike any other room in the Despair Hotel, Makoto’s bathroom door does not fit its frame. To open it, you must physically lift up on the handle while pushing. This mechanical defect proved that Sayaka was killed in Makoto’s room, as she was unfamiliar with the door’s trick and was trapped inside.

Most students custom-decorated their default blue or pink sheets to fit their characters. When I explored these rooms, I noticed that Byakuya Togami replaced his floor with an expensive red Persian carpet and set up a glass showcase holding 10 spare pairs of his signature glasses. Celestia Ludenberg converted hers into a vampire castle aesthetic with dressmaker mannequins and an ornamental coffin. Hifumi Yamada completely covered his walls in Princess Piggles merchandise and scattered bags of half-eaten cheese snacks across the floor.

Goodbye Despair Character Roster: Class 77-B Stat Profiles

For the second entry, we leave the claustrophobic halls of the high school and head to the tropical shores of Jabberwock Island. Mastering the Beachfront MonoMono Machine Math and Present Drop Rates

While hanging out on the beaches of Jabberwock Island or exploring the School Store on the first floor of Hope Peak Academy, you will spend your hard-earned Monocoins on the MonoMono Machine. If you are aiming for a 100% completion run to unlock every hidden dialogue scene, you need to understand that the machine’s programming features a major mathematical rounding error.

The game tracks how many unique presents you have obtained out of the pool of available items. The total unique presents in the machine (M) is exactly 91 in the first game. Let k represent the number of unique items you already own. The game uses integer division to determine your base repeat chance:

R(base) = min(floor(10000 / M) × k, 100.28)

Because the code uses integer truncation, dividing 10000 by 91 does not evaluate to 109.89. Instead, the game truncates this multiplier to exactly 109. This creates an interface rounding error where the displayed repeat chance on your screen deviates from mathematically pure probability by up to -0.80%.

If you spend n coins on a single pull, the game runs this exact formula to calculate your actual repeat chance:

R(actual) = max(R(base) − (n − 1) × 1.09, 0)

This mathematical structure reveals a massive optimization strategy. My testing showed that the dynamic programming method works perfectly. You should spend exactly one coin per pull until you have collected 91 of the presents. At that point, your repeat chance is incredibly high, so you should immediately switch your strategy and spend exactly 92 coins on a single pull. This forces the repeat probability down to exactly 0%, guaranteeing that the last missing present drops with absolute certainty.

Furthermore, there is a hilarious programming oversight with the LUCKY! chain event, which rewards you with up to four extra presents on a single coin pull. The probability of triggering the first extra prize is calculated using your inserted coins (c):

P(1) = floor((10c + 110) / 11)

If your inserted coins are less than 73, the code adds a flat 10% bonus to this probability. This creates a weird paradox where spending exactly 72 coins gives you an 85% chance for an extra prize, whereas spending 82 coins actually drops your success rate to 84%.

If you run out of coins, I highly recommend navigating to the center slot machine in the School Store and betting exactly seven coins. Because of the linear roller symbol sequences in the code, the mathematically expected return on investment is exactly 20.23 coins per spin, making it an incredibly lucrative way to farm present money.

Optimization Strategies for Danganronpa S Ultimate Summer Camp Combat

Developed over a 50-day training cycle on Jabberwock Island, you must carefully optimize your characters’ physical or intelligence growth before taking them into the dungeon crawler battles of the Monokuma Tower.

In my extensive experience leveling cards, I have found that the active playstyles are entirely dictated by card ranks. Normal rank cards are highly limited and can only equip two active skills. You want to aim for Ultra Rare cards, which unlock a massive experience multiplier on Growth Squares and allow you to equip up to five active skills. To successfully climb past Floor 50 of the tower, every single character in your party needs to have the top-tier active skills Ultra Defense and Endurance Up.

To maximize your combat efficiency against the high-level Monobeasts, you must analyze the damage pipeline. If the game engine utilizes a ratio-based mitigation model to prevent defensive scaling decay, your damage output is modeled as:

DMG = ATK × (ATK / (ATK + DEF))

In this mathematical architecture, when an enemy’s defense is zero, you deal your absolute raw attack power. When their defense matches your attack power, your incoming damage is mitigated by exactly 50%.

However, if the developers utilized a classic subtraction-based formula with random variance, your output looks like this:

DMG(base) = (ATK + rand(0, ATK)) − DEF

Under this system, the game employs a hard clamping function to guarantee that you always deal at least a minimum of one damage:

DMG(final) = max(1, floor(DMG(base) × Modifiers))

Understanding these scaling curves is vital when you are choosing whether to invest your Talent Fragments into physical strength or magical intelligence. I highly recommend focusing on high-speed Sports alignments like Maki Harukawa or physical sweepers like Peko Pekoyama, as physical damage scales much cleaner in the late-game tower floors than slow-casting intelligence cards.
