1 Collectibles
Collectibles can be pricey, but there are also some smaller items such as an awesome Clicker Pinny you can find in the PlayStation Shop. There’s figures, Pop! Viny’s, and statues, but they don’t stay on the store forever.
2 Plushes! (Yes, They Have PlayStation Plushes)
While the selection isn’t very large, there are some adorable, official plush dolls that would help complete any PlayStation fan’s collection, no matter what the age. PaRappa will be perfect for fans of the classics, or perhaps a Sackboy for newer fans.
3 Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
Sony has had some big games release this year on the PS4, but the biggest might just be Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. It’s been out for some time, but it’s never too late for a masterpiece. You can find it on PSN, or in most retailers including Best Buy, GameStop, and Amazon.
4 Ratchet & Clank
While Uncharted 4 is a great game, it’s not appropriate for all ages, thankfully Sony hit two home runs in 2016 and one of them happens to be Ratchet & Clank. It has Pixar level visuals, some seriously fun gameplay, and you don’t have to worry about wondering if it’s good for children.
5 Custom Controllers
Controllers are how fans connect with the games they love, and you can make that bond even more special with a custom controller. You can check sites like Custom Controlerzz and Controller Chaos. You can change collors and add skins to represent your special someone or to showcase their favorite game. Get creative!
6 PlayStation VR
The PSVR released in October, and you know what? It’s actually pretty good. It’s the most affordable option for those looking to get into the new tech with a major company, and it actually has a solid lineup of experiences. If you’re shopping for someone who already has a PS4, this is a great gift idea. Just make sure that you don’t buy this for someone under 12.
7 PS4 Pro
A PS4 Pro is a great gift idea for a PlayStation fan who hasn’t gotten around to picking up the latest console, or if you want to treat someone to an upgrade. Hopefully they don’t expect you to upgrade their TV as well. Still, the improved performance, larger HDD, and click design would look good in any entertainment system.
8 Gift Cards
Sometimes you know what to get a person but only in a general sense. Like for a PlayStation fan, you probably know you want to get them a game, but don’t want to choose the wrong one. If that’s the case then a gift card from somewhere like GameStop, Best Buy, Target, Amazon, or any other retailer that sells video games.
9 PS Plus
PlayStation Plus is the subscription service that allows players to play online with others, get free games every month, and have access to sales. Sometimes fans forget to renew their subscriptions, though, so a great gift idea is to take care of that for them.
10 Console Skins
Console customization is another way to personalize a gaming experience. Skinit lets you choose from popular skins or even create something unique.
11 Headset
You’d be surprised by how many gaming headsets break on players, so a new one is a sound gift idea. Some great ones are the PlayStation Gold Wireless Stereo Headset, the Turtle Beach Elite 800, and the Astro Gaming A50 headset. Of course, a headset isn’t a cheap gift, but it’s definitely worth it.
12 PlayStation Holiday Sweater
Christmas sweaters tend to be ugly, it’s part of their charm. But they can retain charm while being stylish… and having the PlayStation button logos emblazoned across the front. This sweater is definitely a good gift idea. Keeps your special someone warm while also letting them show their love.
13 Artwork
Throughout PlayStation’s long history there have been some amazing video games with some stunning designs. There are actually some amazing pieces of art on the PlayStation store you can purchase for some solid prices. But you can shop around in places like Etsy for some unique gift ideas.
14 Jewelry
Yup, you can even get PlayStation jewelry, surprising huh? There’s a small collection on the official PlayStation Store that includes Joel’s Watch, a necklace sporting the symbols we all know from the controllers, and an Old Hunter Necklace from Bloodborne. Etsy also has a wide selection of creative jewelry designs including earrings, cuff links, and and necklaces.
15 Gift Bag of Accessories
There are a lot of little items that are useful for PlayStation users. There’s chargers, docking stations, thumbstick pads, and carry cases. You can put together any combination of these accessories and wrap them in a stocking.
