No Man’s Sky has 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 planets in the universe. If you would like to visit every single planet every second it will take you about 585 billion years to see them all. So although it’s not “infinite” it may as well be because it’s not feasible.
Due to the sheer size of the game, means that players will all be spread out from eachother. Heck, it’s not even likely players will visit the same planets.
In No Man’s Sky, there will be no story at all. No cutscenes or characters. There is one objective in the game, though, get to the center of the universe.
While exploring the vast open world, you will discover planets, different races, and species. If you are the first to discover it, you will be credited for it. You can also name them whatever you please.
Yes, you heard that right. You will able to traverse on planets using a jetpack. It will also get you to higher and taller areas of the map. The jetpack will be the players best friend, getting you out of all sorts of trouble.
Players will be only allowed to have one ship. So pick the ship that will best complement what you are doing, whether it be fighting, trading, or traveling.
