Until Dawn

PSN Essential Picks Sale

PSN Sale

Original Price: $19.99 – Sale Price: $9.99

Whether you’re playing alone or crowding around the TV with friends, Until Dawn is one of the most unique experiences you can get on a PlayStation.

This interactive drama horror places you in the shoes of eight different young adults, tasking players with making decisions that will decide each of their fates throughout the game. One wrong choice could mean the death of your favorite characters, so you’ll surely be on the edge of your seat the entire time.

You’ll certainly get your money’s worth with this deal too, as Until Dawn features a boatload of different endings and paths that make for high replayability.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Original Price: $59.99 – Sale Price: $14.99

By entry number 11 in a series, it’s pretty easy to feel some serious burnout. Despite this, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey still manages to be one of, if not the, best entries in the series.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey takes everything great about the innovations of Assassin’s Creed Origins and makes them even more ambitious. The world and environments are massive and engaging, and the overhaul to the RPG mechanics makes combat feel far more fluid.

Oh, and the story and characters are surprisingly good, thanks mostly in part to a stellar main character in the male Alexios or the female Kassandra. If you’ve yet to experience Assassin’s Creed series, you really are missing out. Thankfully, this PSN sale gives you the perfect reason to add it to your list of owned games.

Dishonored Definitive Edition

PSN Essential Picks Sale

PSN Sale

Original Price: $19.99 – Sale Price: $9.99

To this day, the first Dishonored still sits as one of the most underrated games of the last decade.

In this Arkane developed action-adventure title, you play Korvo, an assassin wrongly accused of killing his empress. To clear his name, players must guide Korvo through the downtrodden steampunk city of Dunwall, unlocking creative stealth and combat techniques to complete assassinations and objectives.

While that may sound simple, powers like teleportation and high jumps allow for amazing traversal possibilities that really open up the world. Combine that with the interesting stories and characters you can find throughout the seedy underbelly, and you’ve got a game you won’t want to put down.

A Way Out

PSN Essential Picks Sale

a way out, PSN Sale

Original Price: $29.99 – Sale Price: $9.89

A game that feels like it was ripped straight from Shawshank Redemption, A Way Out is a co-op multiplayer adventure that tells the daring prison story of two inmates, Vincent Moretti and Leo Caruso.

Together, these criminals must distract guards, locate tools, and carry out a handful of other cooperative actions that’ll be executed simultaneously via a split-screen experience. As such, timing and communication are key, as one misstep will mean game over, landing the boys back in the slammer.

If that wasn’t enough to sell you, then it’s worth noting that you and your friend don’t need to own two separate copies of the game to be able to play it. As long as one of you owns A Way Out, the other person will be able to hop into your session online whenever they wish.

So, in theory, that means you and a buddy could split the cost of this game and only end up paying $5 in this PSN sale for one of the best co-op experiences you’ll find in recent memory.
