OWL Power Rankings – Stage 2 Week 4
1: New York Excelsior
OWL Power Rankings: Stage 2 Week 4
Last Week: 1
Match Record (W-L):Â 16-2
Next Week’s Schedule:Â Dallas Fuel, Los Angeles Valiant
New York once again fended off the surging Seoul Dynasty and proved that they are still the top team to beat in the Overwatch League. Alongside the London Spitfire, they will look to claim the honor of stage 2 champion.
2: London Spitfire
OWL Power Rankings: Stage 2 Week 4
Last Week:Â 2
Match Record (W-L):Â 13-5
Next Week’s Schedule:Â Shanghai Dragons, Dallas fuel
While still a tick behind New York, London fended off a Dynasty team that was gunning for their grip on the #2 spot in our power rankings. They held off, and will look to repeat as stage champions next week.
3: Seoul Dynasty
OWL Power Rankings: Stage 2 Week 4
Last Week:Â 3
Match Record (W-L):Â 13-5
Next Week’s Schedule:Â Houston Outlaws, Florida Mayhem
Seoul had a chance to move up in the rankings this week and failed, losing to both the Spitfire and the Excel. They still hold onto their three spot above the surging Gladiators, but it might not be for long.
4: Los Angeles Gladiators
OWL Power Rankings: Stage 2 Week 4
Last Week:Â 6
Match Record (W-L):Â 10-8
Next Week’s Schedule:Â Philadelphia Fusion, Boston Uprising
The Gladiators incredible surge into prominence continued this week as they knocked off both the Mayhem and the Outlaws. The Gladiators are arguably the biggest, and most pleasant surprise of this stage.
5: Houston Outlaws
OWL Power Rankings: Stage 2 Week 4
Last Week:Â 5
Match Record (W-L):Â 10-8
Next Week’s Schedule:Â Shanghai Dragons, Seoul Dynasty
The Outlaws had a very disappointing week dropping games to both the Gladiators and the Shock. For now they hold onto the five spot as the teams below them still need to show some consistency. They will look to put last week behind them and finish strong against Shanghai and Seoul.
6: Philadelphia Fusion
OWL Power Rankings: Stage 2 Week 4
Last Week:Â 7
Match Record (W-L):Â 11-7
Next Week’s Schedule:Â Los Angeles Gladiators, Los Angeles Valiant
The Fusion continue to be wholly unpredictable and erratic with their performances. Granted, they had two easy opponents this week, but still they took care of business with two emphatic 4-0s.
7: Boston Uprising
OWL Power Rankings: Stage 2 Week 4
Last Week:Â 8
Match Record (W-L):Â 10-8
Next Week’s Schedule:Â San Francisco Shock, Los Angeles Gladiators
Boston’s win over the Valiant would have been more impressive had the Mayhem not already beat them too at that point. Still, it’s good enough to launch Boston up a spot and over the plummeting Valiant.
8: Los Angeles Valiant
OWL Power Rankings: Stage 2 Week 4
Last Week:Â 4
Match Record (W-L):Â 11-7
Next Week’s Schedule:Â Philadelphia Fusion, New York Excelsior
Yeesh, this was a rough week with losses to the Mayhem and the Uprising, and the Valiant took a lump in our power rankings for this week. They are officially no longer the kings of LA, as the Gladiators are playing way better Overwatch as of right now.
9: San Francisco Shock
OWL Power Rankings: Stage 2 Week 4
Last Week:Â 9
Match Record (W-L):Â 6-12
Next Week’s Schedule: Boston Uprising, Florida Mayhem
The Shock are looking competitive in the second half of this stage and the win aganist the Outlaws is a nice one. We’re not ready to put them above some of the mid-tier teams just yet, but they are definitely closing the gap.
10: Florida Mayhem
OWL Power Rankings: Stage 2 Week 4
Last Week: 11
Match Record (W-L):Â 3-15
Next Week’s Schedule: San Francisco Shock, Seoul Dynasty
Look at that! The Mayhem aren’t the second worst team in the OWL anymore! A big win over the Valiant leap frog them over the pathetic Fuel.
11: Dallas Fuel
OWL Power Rankings: Stage 2 Week 4
Last Week:Â 10
Match Record (W-L):Â 5-13
Next Week’s Schedule:Â New York Excelsior, London Spitfire
The Fuel’s failure is officially complete. This should be rockbottom, but I wouldn’t be shocked if they are the ones to hand their Dragons their first win.
12: Shanghai Dragons
OWL Power Rankings: Stage 2 Week 4
Last Week: 12
Match Record (W-L):Â 0-18
Next Week’s Schedule:Â Houston Outlaws, London Spitfire
What is there to say really? Shanghai will go 0-2 every week probably until they don’t. Maybe they can actually beat the shambling corpse of a team formally known as the Fuel one week.
