Resident Evil 2 Remake
Capcom has finally delivered the Resident Evil 2 remake after five long years, and the wait has definitely been worth it. Both veterans and newcomers to the series will find something to love in the ruined ashes of Raccoon City, as Leon and Claire step back into the chilling nightmare of the zombie apocalypse.
As a remake, Capcom has managed to shuffle things up by adding in new surprises and puzzles while fleshing out the series lore.
That said, the Resident Evil 2 remake still makes great use of the survival horror formula by keeping players on their toes. Supplies are limited, and there’s always a constant choice between fight or flight.
Apart from the main story, there’s also the grueling 4th Survivor and Tofu Survivor modes to look forward to. Not to mention that Capcom’s also planning on releasing free DLC for the game as well. Couple all of these factors together with the updated graphics, and you have one of the best modern Resident Evil games to date.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown
The Ace Combat series has made a huge comeback with the seventh game, bringing back all of the classic elements that made the series boom in the first place.
While previous entries have seen a major fall-off in lore, Skies Unknown takes fans back to Strangereal and delves deep into another war. Tensions are rising, and Skies Unknown gives you a look at the two sides of the conflict.
Moreover, the seventh game has also gotten a massive visual upgrade. jets and other airborne vehicles have never looked as real, and the clouds and skies look as though you’re actually soaring through them yourself.
On top of that, players have the option of freely controlling their vehicles instead of the Standard controls that leave much to be desired.
Ace Combat 7 is the game longtime fans have been waiting for, and it’s something even new players can get into. If you’ve been looking for an intense flight simulator game, look no further.

My Time at Portia
My Time at Portia thrusts you into the life of a builder who has inherited their dad’s old workshop. Unlike Harvest Moon or Stardew Valley, Portia leans heavily on collecting materials and crafting items. As a builder, you can take commissions from the townsfolk and deliver any items they may need.
You have a wide range of tools at your disposal, but most of the things you need you will have to build. While you start out with nothing, you’ll soon find yourself slicing down trees and making your first set of workshops.
Before you know it, you’re off handling a handful of commissions and scrounging the mines for rare discs and relics you can use to build even greater machinations.
There are also a few other activities you can take up, from fishing to farming, as well as mingling with the townsfolk. My Time at Portia always has something to keep you busy without feeling stale.

Atlus has brought over Catherine to PC after eight long years, and on Steam, too. Fans can follow Vincent once again on his misadventures between his relationships and the eerie nightmare world where he’s haunted by all sorts of terrifying creatures.
The game follows a man named Vincent whose torn with marrying his long-time girlfriend, Katherine. After a one-night stand with another mysterious woman, Catherine, he begins experiencing surreal dreams where players must push and pull blocks to make paths so Vincent can climb up and escape.
Catherine Classic keeps all of its ingenious puzzles in check, giving players just enough challenge to keep coming back for more. Similarly, there are also multiple ending depending on the choices you make during the daytime segments.

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition
Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition marks the game’s first English release outside of the Xbox 360. With the game finally on Steam, Tales fans can finally experience one of the more popular entires in the series.
This game centers around an ex-knight named Yuri Lowell who starts off by helping a princess, Estelle, that soon sprawls into a full-scale adventure. Vesperia’s group is colorful and diverse, filled with different characters that each have their own stories.
The enhanced edition comes with updated visuals as well as a few extras that only the original Japanese version only had. Similarly, two new team members also join as playable characters, including a young girl named Patty and Yuri’s best friend, Flynn.
With all of this and more, Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition is a great way to scratch that JRPG itch.
