April 2017 XBOX ONE VIDEO GAME RELEASES (2-15)
As 2017 continues to speed on by and April rolls around, there’s another good selection of video games coming to Microsoft’s Xbox One. Despite a rather quiet couple of weeks to start April 2017 off, there are a few great-looking games that might pique your interest.
First up is People Can Fly and Epic Games’ Xbox One remaster of 2011 shooter, Bulletstorm. The Full Clip Edition of Bulletstorm will allow players to jump back into the fast-paced shooter with ultra high resolution, hi-res textures, increase polygon counts, improved audio, and a buttery smooth framerate. Alongside the base game, the Full Clip Edition will include all previously released DLC. Whether you played it last gen or are going to jump in for the first time, this looks to be the definitive Bulletstorm experience.
Following Bulletstorm is Playtonic Games’ Yooka-Laylee. The spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie, this colorful platformer will bring the ’90s platformer to 2017. A cast of whacky characters, vibrant worlds filled with Pagies for you to collect, and an arsenal of moves and abilities makes this a must-have for anyone after a trip down memory lane.

April 2017 XBOX ONE VIDEO GAME RELEASES (19-25)
Moving further into April 2017 and the number of Xbox One video game releases picks up. For those looking to get their fix of jump scares and terrifying horror, Outlast 2 releases on April 25 and is set to be even freakier than its predecessors. Outlast 2 replaces the creepy corridors of the lunatic asylum for the sands of the Arizona desert, as players are put into the shoes of Blake Langermann, a cameraman investigating deep to uncover stories no one else will dare to touch. Expect plenty of battery replacing and jump scares once more.
Elsewhere, following a couple of delays, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 will release on April 25. The title is set to mark a major departure from the previous games, as it greatly expands its scope with a huge open-world to explore. On top of that, Ghost Warrior 3 also includes a multiplayer mode to test your stealthy skills against others.

As April 2017 tails off, you’ll definitely want to check out indie platformer Little Nightmares. Set to release April 28, Little Nightmares has players embark on a dark whimsical tale as Six, a young girl trying to escape levels filled with childhood fears and terrifying creatures known as The Maw. Gameplay trailers of Little Nightmares definitely give off some serious Limbo vibes, so this is definitely one you’ll want to keep your eye one.
Though we’re still waiting on a confirmed release date for April, Just Cause 3 Gold Edition is currently slated to hit the Xbox One within the month.
