As February comes to an end, Xbox One players will be looking forward to what wonderful games March 2017 has in store for them. In the first couple of weeks, there is a handful of titles coming to the system, including a couple of notable titles.

Kicking things off is Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon Wildlands out on March 7. You’ll be able to team up with up to three other players as you complete missions and slowly diminish the power of the Santa Blanca Cartel in Bolivia. The game has a huge sprawling open world, a variety of skills to complete, and is best enjoyed working strategically with other players. If you were a fan of The Division, this should be one to look out for.

On the same day that Wildlands releases, fighting fans will be able to soak up some nostalgia in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. For those unfamiliar with the series, players will be able to choose three fighters from a selection of Marvel and Capcom superheroes and pit them against their opponents. The Ultimate version of the game will feature refinements to the aerial combat and X-Factor systems, but will retain the classic gameplay fans have come to know and love.

You can check out the Xbox One video game releases for the first two weeks of March 2017 below.

  • Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (March 7)
  • Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands (March 7)
  • LEGO Worlds (March 7)
  • Styx: Shards of Darkness (March 14)

March 2017 XBOX ONE VIDEO GAME RELEASES (19-25)

Worried Mass Effect Andromeda

As we move into week three of March, Xbox One owners will likely have their eyes fixed on one title and one title alone. BioWare’s latest installment in the Mass Effect series, Mass Effect: Andromeda will finally release on March 21. Set in the entirely new Andromeda galaxy, players will adopt the role of a Pathfinder, searching for a new home for the people of Earth.

Just like the previous titles in the series, you can expect plenty of progression and customization systems, intense sci-fi combat, and a fantastic story to drive all of the action along. Whether you’re a newcomer to the series or an existing fan, Mass Effect Andromeda is well worth checking out in March 2017.

There are three other titles accompanying Mass Effect Andromeda in the third week of March. This Is the Police will task you with controlling and managing a task force as Police Chief Jack Boyd. You’ll need to make the right decisions, and maybe even do some dodgy dealings if you want to see Jack enjoy his retirement fund.

You can check out the Xbox One video game releases for the third week of March 2017 below.

  • Mass Effect: Andromeda (March 21)
  • Troll & I (March 21)
  • This Is the Police (March 22)
  • Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey (March 24)

March 2017 XBOX ONE VIDEO GAME RELEASES (26-31 & TBA)

has-been heroes, xbox one, march 2017

The end of March 2017 sees the number of video game releases on the Xbox One slowing right down once more. That doesn’t mean there’s nothing worth you picking up, though.

Most notably in the final week of March 2017 is the release of Has-Been Heroes on Xbox One. Due to release on March 28, Has-Been Heroes provides a blend of challenging strategy and action. Players control a band of heroes who must escort the King’s twin princesses to the Princess Academy. The main pull of Has-Been Heroes comes in its eclectic mix of spells. Combining these together can lead to even more powerful attacks, and it’s through experimenting and finding successful strategies that players will find the most satisfaction in the game.

Unfortunately, there are two titles that are still awaiting confirmed dates in Outcast: Second Contact, and Overload. If this changes, we’ll be sure to update this post to reflect the new dates.

You can check out the Xbox One video game releases for the final week of March 2017, as well as those with unconfirmed dates, below.

  • Has-Been Heroes (March 28)
  • Snake Pass (March 29)
  • Outcast: Second Contact (TBA)
