Weeks 1 & 2
Xbox One March 2018 Video Game Releases
It’s that time of the month again where we bid farewell to the month’s releases and look ahead at what’s to come in the next. March 2018 is set to bring a handful of intriguing games to the Xbox One, but once again, they all tend to release around the same time.
Unfortunately, the major releases for the Xbox One in March 2018 tend to come toward the end of the month. The start of the month does still see some remasters and re-releases hit Microsoft’s system, though, such as Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition, and Devil May Cry HD Collection. The Royal Edition of 2016’s Final Fantasy XV expands the map of Eos and adds a new accessory that grants players the power to pull off an incredibly powerful “Armiger Unleashed” attack.
Though it’s likely to find its home on PC due to its city-building sim nature, Surviving Mars will also hit the Xbox One on March 20. Players will need to build and manage their colony in an attempt to improve its chances of survival, all the while trying to uncover the mysteries of the red giant itself.

Weeks 3 & 4
Xbox One March 2018 Video Game Releases
Weeks three and four of March 2018 are where things really heat up in terms of Xbox One releases. March 20 is the blockbuster day with three releases including Rare’s Microsoft-exclusive, Sea of Thieves. Players will be able to group together and take to the high seas as they seek out treasure, blast other players’ ships, and uncover the mysteries of the sprawling seas.
If you prefer your naval action with a hint of sneaky assassinations, then Assassin’s Creed Rogue: Remastered offers players another chance to experience the darkest chapter in the series so far in full 1080p (or 4K if you’re rockin’ an Xbox One X or PS4 Pro). This time, players assume control of Shay Cormac, an assassin who is turned on by his peers and sets out on a mission to get revenge. Expect plenty of climbing, sword slashes, and sailing the seas in this one, too.
Rounding out March 2018 on the Xbox One is A Way Out, Josef Fares’ co-op focused title that sees two brothers trying to escape prison and adventure in the world beyond. And what makes it even better is you only need one copy of the game to play in co-op. As A Way Out has been made to be played in co-op, you can invite a friend to join you on the adventure for free.
March 2018 ends with a bang on Xbox One thanks to the release of Ubisoft’s Far Cry 5. Unlike the exotic locales we’ve previously seen in the series, Far Cry 5 sends players to Hope County, Montana, as they attempt to build resistance and fight back against the doomsday cult known as Eden’s Gate. As you’d expect from a Far Cry title, you’ll have a massive arsenal of weapons, a huge, detailed open world to explore, and plenty of missions and challenges to put your destructive skills to the test. Things are shaken up a bit this time around, though, with Friends for Hire providing players with a helping hand when the going gets tough, and a campaign fully-playable in co-op.
