Kotodama: The 7 Mysteries of Fujisawa

switch releases june

Fujisawa Academy is full of secrets and it’s up to you to uncover them. Kotodama is an interactive visual novel that has you interrogating and investigating other classmates until you expose the truth.

By replaying the game multiple times, you will unlock new facts and hidden details that will eventually lead to a true ending.

If you’re a fan of the Ace Attorney series or Danganronpa, then Kotodama: The 7 Mysteries of Fujisawa should be right up your alley.

This visual novel launches for the Switch on June 4.

Timespinner

Timespinner is a visually stunning sprite-based pixel-art Metroidvania that has you playing as a woman named Lunais. By using her time control powers, she plans to destroy an empire that did her wrong in the past.

In this platformer, there will be no shortage of insane boss battles, monsters to collect that will aid you in battle, and tons of elemental attacks and powers at your disposal.

Timespinner launches on the Nintendo Switch eShop on June 4.

Slay the Spire

Slay the Spire is a fantasy card battling RPG that’s also mixed in with a little bit of roguelike gameplay.

There are literally hundreds of different cards to find to add to your deck and every time you attempt to make it up the spire, the layout will be different.

If you think that you can make it to the top of the spire, then you’ll be able to attempt the challenge once Slay the Spire launches on Switch on June 6.

Warlocks 2: God Slayers

Warlocks 2: God Slayers is a humorous pixel art action game that allows you to play with up to three other players over local co-op.

Together, you will blast through expansive maps with randomly generated loot to collect. There are different characters to choose from with different stats and dozens of enemies to fight along the way.

Think Dead Cells but with friends and Warlocks 2 fits the picture. Warlocks 2: God Slayers launches for Switch on June 7.

Leisure Suit Larry – Wet Dreams Don’t Dry

Leisure Suit Larry is back in action folks and this time he has technology at his side. By using an app called Timber, Larry will go on dates with a lot of different women to get his Timber score up to eventually date the woman of his dreams, Faith.

The game plays out in a non-linear fashion using a point and click gameplay system. You can explore different venues and solve puzzles in Leisure Suit Larry once it launches on June 13 for the Switch.

Verlet Swing

switch game releases for june 2019

Verlet Swing might be one of the trippiest games to ever come to the Nintendo Switch –just look at all of those dolphins… and are those… toilets?

Verlet Swing has you literally swinging through a hundred levels that feature odd and insane visuals that act as obstacles to pass through.

There are also leaderboards available for you so you can just how fast you can swing. This (insert genre here) game will be launching on the eShop on June 14.

Slender: The Arrival

all switch releases for june

How can we all forget just how terrifyingly scary the Slender Man is?

Slender: The Arrival is survival horror at its best and is a major upgrade from the original PC game that took the internet by storm back in 2012.

Instead of collecting eight pages, you will instead explore abandoned areas that each have a different objective for you figure out. You can check out this horror title once it launches on June 20 for the Switch.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled

all switch releases for june 2019

Crash Bandicoot has already made a comeback with the recently released remasters of the original 3D platformers back on the PS2, but now you should be very excited because the kart racer is also getting a remaster.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled hopes to bring back the cult hit with all of the original racers, karts, and tracks, but fully remade from the ground up for modern consoles.

We will see if this can compete with Mario Kart once the racer launches on June 21.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

If you’re a fan of the original Castlevania games, then you will feel right at home with Bloodstained. The game’s development is being led by one of the original Castlevania heads and looks to be a spiritual successor for the franchise.

Expect to explore demon-infested castles with lots of backtracking and special abilities to collect. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is almost here with a set release date of June 25.

Super Neptunia RPG

Here’s a synopsis of Super Neptunia RPG from its Steam page:

“The self-proclaimed hero, Neptune, awakes in a familiar world, but has no recollection of anything other than her name.

With the help of a mysterious girl named Chrome, as well as three other familiar faces beloved in the Neptuniaâ„¢ series, Neptune embarks on a journey through the mysterious dimension to try to regain her memory.

Little do they know, the world they inhabit is under attack by an enemy who wants to take civilization back to the time where 2D reigns supreme.

Can Neptune and her friends save the world and 3D games as we know it, or will they be flattened into two dimensions forever?”

Super Neptunia RPG launches for the Switch on June 25.

Furwind

switch game releases for june

Furwind hopes to evoke the feelings of 2D sidescrollers of the past, specifically the 16-bit era. You get to play as an adorable little fox who can find new powers and improve upon his abilities to take down some scary bosses.

Furwind will be coming to the Switch eShop on June 27.

Super Mario Maker 2

If you thought the Wii U/3DS versions of Super Mario Maker had a lot of creation tools to make Mario courses, then think again.

Super Mario Maker 2 is bringing with it tons of new tools that will surely help people create some insane levels. While some people will choose to make torture levels to mess with the community, I’m sure that well-designed courses will be out there as well.

Super Mario Maker 2 launches on June 28.

A Fold Apart

Here’s the synopsis of this one straight from the developers themselves:

“With over fifty unique paper-folding puzzles exploring the emotional journey of a long-distance couple, A Fold Apart is sure to touch the hearts and minds of puzzle gamers everywhere.

After career choices force them down separate paths, Alex and Sam vow to make their relationship work despite the challenges of living apart.

Though they frequently communicate through text messages, misunderstandings are inevitable and cause the characters to erect emotional barriers that physically bar their path.

By folding the pieces of paper these characters inhabit, players are able to help the couple safely navigate around their relationship hurdles and find a way forward.”

A Fold Apart is set to launch sometime in June.
