Top 25 Best Video Games 2016 Oxenfree

Gold members will be able to enjoy a pretty diverse lineup of free games this September. The two headlining titles for this month are Forza Motorsport 5: Racing Game of the Year Edition, as well as Oxenfree. The two Xbox 360 games on offer are Hydro Thunder Hurricane and Battlefield 3. Both 360 games will also be playable on the Xbox One, thanks to Microsoft’s backwards compatibility program.

Forza is a series that needs no introduction. Featuring highly photorealistic tracks and car models, the game is a must-play for fans of motorsports and car racing. If you’re looking for something a bit more story-driven, Oxenfree is a fantastic option for you. Oxenfree stands out because of how naturally conversation flows in the game. Your character is able to choose from a few dialogue options to respond to an ongoing conversation, but you have an extremely limited amount of time to make your selection. This fluid and natural flow, combined with the story’s presented mystery and slightly spooky setting, makes for a really compelling experience.

Here are all the free games Xbox Gold subscribers can get in September 2017:

  • Oxenfree
  • Hydro Thunder Hurricane
  • Battlefield 3

PlayStation Plus

The big game to look out for this month is inFamous: Second Son. It was one of the first exclusive titles to launch for the PS4 a few years back, and it still holds up really well even today. The best part is, you don’t have to have played the first two games in the series to jump into this one. Delsin Rowe is a brand new character and protagonist in this entry, and you’ll be sucked into Sucker Punch’s loving recreation of Seattle in no time at all.

Strike Vector EX is the second title PS4 users can look forward to checking out this month. It’s a first-person competitive aerial combat game that comes packed with various modes, as well as enhanced controls and features specific to the PS4.

If all else fails, you could always pick up Hatoful Boyfriend on the PS Vita. The popular pigeon dating simulator might sound a little silly, but trust us, things get really serious once you’ve unlocked enough endings and have headed towards the true story path.

And for those of you who happen to own a PSVR headset as well, there’s also RIGS: Mechanized Combat League.

Here are all the free games PlayStation Plus users can get in September 2017:

  • inFamous: Second Son
  • Strike Vector EX
  • Truck Racer
  • Handball 2016
  • We Are Doomed
  • Hatoful Boyfriend
  • RIGS: Mechanized Combat League
