Quantum Break

Remedy Entertainment’s long awaited action game, Quantum Break, is finally ready to release. Playing as Jack Joyce, players will bend time to their will as they work to save humanity from a horrific cataclysm. Combining gameplay with a live action series, Quantum Break weaves a story that allows players to witness events from multiple viewpoints. Solving the mysteries presented will be no small task, but the developers have weaved an adventure that makes every step worthwhile.
One of the most anticipated games of the year, Quantum Break will be available on Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs on Apr. 5. Time is power, and you must seize it.Â
Enter the Gungeon

Yet another game with a focus on time. Inspired by The Binding of Isaac, Enter the Gungeon sees players collecting firearms to battle the Cult of the Gundead. These living bullets will stop at nothing to protect their most prized possession, a gun that can kill the past. Enter the Gungeon is part dungeon crawler, part bullet hell where players must rely on both skill and the environment to survive.
If fast paced, well drawn indie games are what you like, this is definitely one to keep an eye out for. You can seek to kill the past on your own on the PlayStation 4 and PC come Apr. 5.Â
Dark Souls III

Prepare to die again…again. Dark Souls III brings back one of the most challenging games for its final outing. Set in a world of flame and ash, players must once again battle through epic bosses, and seemingly insurmountable challenges. Utilizing new speed and ways of fighting, Dark Souls III looks to be the most advanced entry in the series thus far.
April brings the biggest challenge From Software has cooked up yet. If you’re up to the task, you can test your mettle on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on Apr. 12.Â
Ratchet & Clank
PS4
The PlayStation 4 adds another exclusive to its list of games this month. This time it’s Ratchet & Clank, a re-imagining of the original, PS2 classic. Fans of the original game will recognize levels, weapons, and characters that they fell in love with all of those years ago. Insomniac did more than just make a classic prettier, though. They’ve added new levels, weapons, and mechanics to fully bring Ratchet & Clank to the current generation of gaming.
Fans and newcomers alike will be able to experience the game that started it all in a whole new way on Apr. 12.Â
Gears of War 4 MP Beta

This may not be a new game entirely, but if you own an Xbox One and are into Gears of War, then this is definitely something you’ll want to look forward to. Starting on Apr. 18, those who’ve played Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on Xbox One or PC before Apr. 11 will be able to start the Gears of War 4 MP Beta. The Beta opens up to everyone with an Xbox One on the 25th.
Experience The Coalition’s new take on Gears of War multiplayer as they make a push toward the Esports crowd. Who knows what awaits in the highly anticipated Xbox One exclusive.Â
Star Fox Zero

The Wii U is just about due for a brand new exclusive, and who better to make it happen than Star Fox and his crew. With new stages, new vehicles, and a whole new way of seeing the world of Star Fox, this is definitely one of the Nintendo games to look forward to this month. Also included with a purchase of Star Fox Zero is Star Fox Guard. A tower defense game that will task players with clearing lanes by strategically switching between mounted turrets.
You can take to the skies on Apr. 22, only on Wii U.Â
Alienation
PS4
Housemarque is no stranger to creating story rich experiences with plenty of firepower. Dead Nation let players experience a zombie apocalypse in the most badass way possible. Alienation is a sort of spiritual successor that takes the best elements of Dead Nation and turns the dial up all the way to 11.
Three unique classes, drop-in/drop-out co-op, PvP, RPG elements, and endless waves of deadly aliens await those who dive in. You’ll get to face the zombie hordes on PS4 come Apr. 26.Â
King’s Quest – Chapter 3: Once Upon a Climb

The revival of King’s Quest has been met with smiles. The retelling of a classic is never quite easy to pull off, but the developers have been doing a magnificent job with each of the episodes of this tale so far. This next chapter remixes the tale of how Graham met his love. Â Filled with options and a healthy dose of humor, it’s sure to put a smile on your face.
