4th of july

So not everything is about making big, fiery lights in the sky. Sometimes the weapon just has to make you feel like those guys who earned the 4th of July holiday in the first place. No weapon is better than the musket. Now okay, you may be thinking “but a musket isn’t very exciting… like, at all.” And you have a pretty solid point there. But, take a second and think back to a recent game called Assassin’s Creed III.

That game put you right in the center of the Revolutionary War with time appropriate weapons. While jumping off of roofs and using hidden blades was fun and all, there was no greater feeling than to hit a charging enemy square in the face with a perfectly placed musket shot. In the heat of battle, after all the punching and slicing, firing the musket just couldn’t be matched. It’s one of the weapons that helped lead to the 4th of July, so go let off a few rounds and win some independence.
