3 Childhood Characters That Would Make Perfect Until Dawn Villains

These guys were all pretty messed up really...

Until Dawn

If you were alive during the 90s, it was pretty much impossible to escape from these little blighters, and that’s why they’d fit in perfectly in Until Dawn. Waking up in the middle of the night to find a horde of Furbies staring at you with their huge eyes is something that probably put the fear of God into many 90’s kids. While they were all cute and adorable in the day with the constant “Let’s playyyy!” and crazy nonsensical noises, waking up to one in the middle of the night screaming that with huge whitened eyes staring at you is an experience no child should have to go through.

Now imagine playing Until Dawn, you walk into a room during the day and they’re just sitting there, in silence, all innocent and almost unnoticeable. Come night time, and the cabin is awash with “Let’s playyy!” and “Wahhhhhh!” coming from beneath the floorboards, and moving around the cabin. A possessed Furbie watching over the characters, moving around the cabin and attacking when the time is right, is quite a terrifying prospect. After all, a horde of them could be pretty dangerous. All dat fur…. the perfect cover up, and murder weapon.

Mr. Rogers and His Demon Clown Mask

Until Dawn

Mr. Rogers was always quite a friendly guy. Stereotypically 90’s, but still an all around nice guy. That is, until he put on his weird clown mask. There is no way that you can argue the case that the mask is not slightly demonic and twisted. Whether this was supposed to be legitimately scary or not, nobody is sure, but he definitely fits into a horror film/game alright.

Mr. Rogers is the perfect addition into Until Dawn as the caretaker/cleaner. Coming ’round in the day time, he’s a happy and friendly guy. You know, the kind of neighbor who goes to church every Sunday, has a wife and kids and is that all round caring character. Come night time, Mr. Rogers and his demon clown mask wreak havoc, wielding a butcher’s knife, chainsaw or his trusty garden pitch fork. And if he wasn’t enough, he always has his little puppet friend to help him out too. Always watching…just waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

Until Dawn

Demon clown Rogers and his psychotic looking puppet. They’re the perfect horror duo, and yet at the same time, you’d be completely unsuspecting of the charming caretaker and his cute retro puppet. These guys have absolutely nothing on our final pick though…

Mr. BlobbyUntil Dawn

So where do I start with Mr. Blobby? Ermmmmm, maybe the completely psychotic look spread across his face? His huge googly eyes taking in his entire surroundings, his huge hands capable of crushing pretty much anything or that smile? He’s just a concoction of 90’s child humor and typical British television personalities.

I mean I don’t know what would be considered more terrifying, waking up to just see him leaning over you with his huge hands and smile as he smothers you with a pillow, or him chasing you down a corridor wielding a chainsaw. Or you know, he could just do this…(As a side note, at the very end he lets out an incredibly demonic laugh)

If that wasn’t bad enough for you, just check out some of the video below and listen to how creepy and messed up his voice was. I really don’t know how this was considered a child friendly TV character/ show, but when I was a kid I loved him, now…he just creeps me the fuck out.

So yeah, if Supermassive Games are looking for some bonus chapter DLC for Until Dawn, Mr. Blobby, Furbies and Mr. Rogers are our top picks for the culprits. We’d like to take some credit for it though.
