Gotham Knights is upon us, and comparisons will undoubtedly be drawn between this entry and the Arkham titles of years past. One of the more enjoyable features of those Arkham games was being able to glide effortless through the city. So we’re here to tell you how to glide in Gotham Knights.
How to Unlock Glide in Gotham Knights
This may end up being a sticking point for many players, but the ability to glide is something you must unlock in Gotham Knights.
While Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin can all either grapple their way through Gotham or ride the Batcycle, gliding comes at a cost.
Players must complete Knighthood Challenges in order to unlock their gliding ability as well as Knighthood skill tree. Below, we’ll break it down into simple steps.
- Access the in-game Menu via the Control Pad > Challenges.
Challenges tab is located third from the left.
- Find the Knighthood Challenge.
Should be visible immediately upon opening the Challenges tab.
- Complete Knighthood Challenge.
Finish ‘Timed Strikes’ Training and solve Premeditated Crimes.
Training exercises can be accessed in the space between the training dummy and weight sets. Simply complete ‘Timed Strikes’ and a set number of premeditated crimes, and you’ll be able to bounce around Gotham. It should be noted that you do not have to do this for every character at the same time. And, each character has a different “gliding” ability.
All ‘Glide’ Abilities for Every Character in Gotham Knights
- Batgirl: Similar to Batman, Batgirl has a cape and can, in fact, Glide through the skies of Gotham.
- Nightwing: With his flying trapeze, Nightwing too can Glide through the skies. Now the fun starts.
- Red Hood: Utilizing spirit platforms, Red Hood gets to use his Mystical Leap ability.
- Robin: Via slideways, Robin activates portals to move from place to place.
And that’s that, everything players need to know in order to glide in Gotham Knights. It takes some grinding, but not too much, and each character has their own special ability.
