When it comes to MyCareer mode in NBA 2K, everything comes back to building your brand. No matter if it is on the court, in the city, or from interview to interview, your player has a lot of work to do off of the court in order to stand out. Yet no matter where you are, expression is crucial. That’s why we’re here to break down how to buy and change animations in NBA 2K23.
Buying and Changing Animations in NBA 2K23
NBA 2K spares no expense when it comes to having the ability to make your player as obnoxious, or endearing, as possible. One of the various ways to go about enhancing this one way or the other is through animation styles, of which there are plenty. The step-by-step that follows will show you exactly what you need to do in order to buy and change your player’s animations in NBA 2K23.
- Hit the Start button to bring up the MyCareer Menu.
It all starts at the Start, after all.
- Scroll over to MyPlayer on the right side of the screen.
Here you will see the Animations tab.
- Alter your Animations between Gameplay and Showoff.
Gameplay Animations: Scoring, Playmaking, and In-Game Celebrations.
Showoff Animations: Intros/Outros, City Emotes, and City Dribble Emotes. - To buy Animations, simply go to the Animations Store.
Prices vary from the low, low cost of free to upwards of 1,000 Virtual Currency.
And that is that, as they say. Going through each and every shot animation may feel a bit tedious, but it’s worth it to find the perfect jump. The same logic can be applied to how you present yourself on and off the court. Animations are an excellent tool to utilize when growing your fanbase, or when just looking to have a little fun. While choices may become difficult, ultimately buying and changing your animations in NBA 2K23 is a relatively easy endeavor.
