At launch, the following six sports are available to play in Nintendo Switch Sports:

  • Volleyball (1-4 players)
  • Badminton (1-2 players)
  • Bowling (1-4 players)
  • Soccer (1-2 players)
  • Chambara (1-2 players)
  • Tennis (1-4 players)

In addition to these six, Nintendo has also announced that golf will be added to the game in a free update this summer, bringing the total playable sports to seven.

All of these sports can be played both offline in single-player mode, offline in local multiplayer mode, and online against other players.

Several of the sports also have different modes available to play within them. For example, in bowling, you can play classic mode or challenge mode in which obstacles are set up along the lanes that must be avoided. In soccer, you can play 1v1, 4v4, or shoot-out mode. In Chambara (sword fighting), you can choose between three different sword types to use.

That’s everything you need to know about all of the sports you can play in Nintendo Switch Sports. Be sure to check back with Twinfinite for more tips, tricks, and guides.
