How To Turn off Enemy Encounters in Chrono Cross The Radical Dreamers Edition

Pressing L3 as you travel will entirely turn off enemy encounters. Unlike some RPGs at the time, Chrono Cross The Radical Dreamers Edition doesn’t have random encounters. Any enemies there are to fight can be seen moving around as you travel through an area. While some can be avoided, hitting enemy after enemy can be frustrating.

While this might seem like a counterproductive idea when grinding is typically the name of the game, there are some points where you just want to get from point A to point B and that makes this an easier journey. Plus, when it comes time to backtrack, it saves time from getting sucked into fights with enemies that are almost a waste of time to fight.

There you have it, everything you need to know for how to turn off enemy encounters in Chrono Cross The Radical Dreamers Edition.
