Getting Eevee in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Eevee is one of the most popular Pokemon in the series, and it’s also one of the harder Pokemon to obtain in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl because you can’t catch it in the wild, and you need to put in quite a bit of effort to get it.

First off, you’ll need to complete the entire Sinnoh Dex. This means that you need to at least encounter every Pokemon in the Sinnoh Region, though this doesn’t apply to the version-exclusive legendary Pokemon. For the regular version-exclusive Pokemon, you can encounter them simply by heading to the Grand Underground or fighting them in battles with Team Galactic members.

Once you have the Sinnoh Dex filled out, speak with Professor Rowan to get the National Dex, then head back to Hearthome City and enter Bebe’s house, which is right next to the Poke Center. Speak with Bebe, and you’ll receive an Eevee for free.

After that, you can breed more Eevees by using the nursery at Solaceon Town.

Getting All Eeveelutions

One thing you need to be aware of is that Sylveon is not an available Eeveelution in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, but you can still get the rest of Eevee’s forms. We’ve explained how to below:

  • Vaporeon – Use a Water Stone
  • Flareon – Use a Fire Stone
  • Jolteon – Use a Thunder Stone
  • Umbreon – Increase Eevee’s Friendship level and level it up during the daytime
  • Espeon – Increase Eevee’s Friendship level and level it up during the nighttime
  • Leafeon – Level Eevee up while near the Mossy Rock with the bean of sunlight shining down on it in Eterna Forest
  • Glaceon – Level Eevee up while near the Ice Rock on Route 217

That’s all you need to know about how to get Eevee in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
