As a detective, it makes sense that Yagami needs to tail some of his targets in Lost Judgment. If he wants to do so correctly, he’s going to need to do it without getting caught. Here is everything you need to know about how to tail targets in Lost Judgment.
Just like in the previous Judgment, tailing missions will pop up here and there where you will need to follow a specific person without getting caught. This time around, though, there are a few key details that are different when tailing people in Lost Judgment.
How to Tail Targets in Lost Judgment
Movement is pretty much the same, as you’ll use the left stick to follow your target. As always, you need to keep them in sight. If you lose them, a timer will appear on the screen indicating how long you have to find your target. If you lose them, you fail.
Similarly, if you get caught following them, you will also fail. In order to avoid this, you’ll need to keep an eye on the percentage bar at the top of the screen that shows how suspicious the target is of Yagami.
Unlike last game, avoiding suspicions isn’t simply limited to hiding in spots that are indicated by blue squares. Instead, holding down the Triangle button causes Yagami to act casual when the target is looking his way. You can also hide behind objects like cars and walls, but you don’t need to press Circle to activate it. Instead, you’ll automatically take cover.
It is important to note that there are perks that will increase the time you have to find your target and even the noise you make while following them, just to name a couple. You can also catch up to whoever you’re tailing by holding down sprint (X).
The only time you’ll have to head to squares/specific areas is when cutscenes trigger. These squares will be red and will trigger automatically when you walk inside them.
