Tribes of Midgard is a brand new co-op multiplayer action game from Norsfell and Gearbox Publishing. You can play the game solo, or team up with nine other players to explore a vast world while trying to protect your village from invading Helthings and Jotunns. Along the way, you’ll be able to pick up some valuable items as well. Here’s how to get and use Golden Horns in Tribes of Midgard.

Getting Golden Horns in Tribes of Midgard

There are two ways to obtain Golden Horns in Tribes of Midgard. The first method is by leveling up your battle pass, and the second method is buy killing enemies and opening chests in-game, and hoping that you can get one randomly.

Whenever you’re in-game, there’s a very small chance that an enemy will drop a Golden Horn when you kill them. It can be any enemy at all, whether it’s a dangerous Jotunn or a foe in the starting biome. While you’re raiding enemy outposts and opening chests, it’s also possible to spawn a Golden Horn from that. It’s totally random, so don’t rely on just farming enemies and chests to get them.

As you play, you’ll naturally gain experence as well to level up your account. The more levels you gain, the more rewards you’ll unlock via the free battle pass, and it’s possible to get Golden Horns that way.

How to Use Them

Golden Horns can be turned in at the altar in the village for a random piece of loot of varying rarity. The loot you get is completely RNG-based, so we recommend saving them to purchase more valuable items elsewhere.

If you take a look at the Shop tab in the main menu, you’ll see that there are Legendary items that you can buy with Golden Horns as well. These are pretty expensive, though, so you’ll definitely need to save up for a bit before you can afford them.
