7 Aliens That Need to Join Fortnite’s Locker in Season 7

Fortnite Season 7 has arrived, and this time around the theme is ‘Invasion’ of the alien variety. While we already know Rick and Morty have made their way into the Battle Pass alongside Superman, we couldn’t help but brainstorm a few ideas of other alien lifeforms that deserve a spot in Fortnite’s Locker.

So that’s exactly what we did! Below you’ll find seven invasion or alien-related skins we’d love to see appear in Fortnite throughout Season 7!

Alf

One of the first and best that ever did it. Alf may not look like your typical alien, but the alien life form (ALF) came from his home planet of Melmac and decided to settle down with the Tanner family during the 90s.

While this one will most likely be lost on all the hip, young kids of today that are busy crankin’ 90s, rather than learning about the incredible TV and film to release in the decade, we couldn’t write this list without giving him a nod. Besides, imagine that quiff rendered in Fortnite’s world. Magical stuff.

E.T.

E.T really only had one objective when he landed on earth and befriended young lad Elliott — phone home. It’s been nearly 30 years since the movie originally released (my lordy that makes you feel old too… right?) and in that time, we’d like to think he’s settled back into his alien lifestyle, drifting his spaceship through meteor belts, and making shit light up with his absolute wiener fingers.

So now it’s about darn time that E.T. dropped onto the Fortnite island to show all these flossing kids what’s what. He could even come in multiple styles, donning his iconic blanket covering from the bike scene, his lady-like getup, and the au natural naked look.

To be honest, we’d even take the little fella as a back bling, blurting out his iconic catchphrase after every elimination.

Space Jam’s The Monstars

If you’re a 90’s kid, then The Monstars more or less framed your basis for any opposition in sports. Young lads on the opposing team? Nah they’re actually hulking multi-colored monsters in disguise. Just me… right then.

Jokes aside, The Monstars would make for some rather excellent Fortnite skins in Season 7. Not only are they somewhat relevant with the upcoming release of the new Space Jam, but their vibrant colored skins and differing heights make sure that each one feels somewhat different, or as different as cosmetic items can feel.

A glowing basketball on their backs as back bling and a basketball hoop as a harvester and you’ve got an Item Set ready for the Shop right there. We’ll take our commission in V-Bucks, thanks Epic!

X-Files’ Mulder and Scully

Fortnite Season 7 Skins We’d Love to See

With over 200 episodes under its belt, The X-Files firmly established itself as some of the very best sci-fi TV you could watch back in the 90s and early noughties. Even its final season in 2018 made for some enjoyable viewing for long-term fans, and at the heart of the mystery in each and every series are FBI Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.

Sure, they may not be aliens, but they’ve tangoed with the supernatural more than enough times to make a perfect shoo-in for Fortnite Season 7.

If we’re completely honest, we’re a little disappointed that these weren’t part of the new Battle Pass. We can confirm, however, that we will most definitely riot if they don’t make an appearance at some point in the current season. It’s too perfect an opportunity to pass up.

I want to believe.

Marvin the Martian

We’d have said that this simply wouldn’t be possible back in Fortnite’s first 10 seasons, but in Chapter 2, we’ve seen some really impressive cartoon and anime-style skins that really up the ante.

Marvin the Martian is sure to send players on a nostalgia trip back to days sat in the front of the TV watching Loony Tunes, sippin’ on a juice box, and living their best childhood life.

Marvin comes right from Mars, and loves to get angry in his Hoplite-styled armor based on that of Mars, God of War. Given he’s been trying to destroy Earth with his “Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator” for the best part of two millennia, we imagine he’s pretty angry and wouldn’t mind racking up some Victory Royales to let off some steam.

He could also play a part in the wider story of Fortnite, either helping or hindering the current aliens invading the map — the same ones that have ripped The Spire out of the center of the map and left a crater in its place.

As much as we’d love to use his disintegration pistol to devastating effect in Fortnite, we think that may have to be relegated to cosmetic back bling for the sake of balance. Sorry, Marvin!

Dr. Zoidberg

Not every alien is a scheming, genius hellbent on destroying all of civilization. Some of them are kind doctors, content with eating turkeys (or anything) whole and living in dumpsters… They just wanna make a living in the big U S of A, okay?!

That’s Dr. Zoidberg for you, Futurama’s weird tentacle-faced alien creature heralding from the planet Decapod 10. He whoops, he waddles, he’s a winner. That’s more or less everything you need to know about him. I mean, c’mon, look at him trying to devour that turkey in one.

All we ask is he gets a little scuttle traversal emote. Are we asking a bit much here? Probably, but legends deserve to be immortalized in the world of Fortnite, and Zoidberg is exactly that. A frickin’ legend.

Mars Attacks’ Martians

fortnite season 7 skins

Can you have a Fortnite season called ‘Invasion’ with an enormous mothership literally invading the map and not have these absolute icons of sci-fi feature at some point? The answer is you can, but we’d give you a big ol’ frowny face for doing so.

I mean, where do I start here? The terrifying bulging eyes? The exposed brain? The skeleton-like nose and grimace? Or the fact that they’re seemingly carrying nerf guns in the image above? But who cares about the tackiness, this was peak 90’s and I won’t stand for any bashing of my Martian mates.

Given the Martians initially met with the president of the United States under peaceful pretenses, their true intentions were inevitably revealed when they began attacking cities around the world.

We could try and make some tenuous link here about how they’d fit into the world of Fortnite, but as we’ve seen in the past, they don’t always need to fit into the narrative. And truthfully, I just want to bounce around in a red cape terrifying small children as The Martian Leader…

The real American dream.
