It will be such a long grind to obtain this player because the Byron Buxton card is the final reward for completing the April Monthly Award Missions and Moments in MLB The Show 21.

That means you’ll have to complete every last bit of content from the April Missions, Moments, the April Awards and the Topps Now Collection, as well as the April Awards and Topps Now player missions to unlock this highly skilled player. One of the most time-consuming parts will be obtaining 25 cards in one of the Topps Now Collections.

But once that’s all done, you should have the 100 points you need to unlock Byron Buxton. Many MLB The Show 21 players have already unlocked Buxton at this point, so you’ll want to add this player to your lineup as soon as you get him.

If your opponents are going to be patrolling the outfield with a 99 Fielding and 99 Reaction player, then you’ll want to even up the odds and do the same. Plus, his Contact and Power against lefties and righties are extremely good sitting at 84 or higher for each one.
