If you’re just starting out with the new housing elements in Genshin Impact, you’ll quickly realize that a lot of furnishings in the game require wood as a crafting material. It’s not as simple as just cutting trees to get wood, though, as each region in Teyvat is home to different types of trees, and they all offer you different types of wood in turn.

Listed below are all of the different types of wood you can get in the game at the time of writing, as well as the region they’re located in:

To get wood, all you have to do is go to the relevant region, approach a tree, and start whacking it with a sword, claymore, or polearm. Hit it enough times, and up to three pieces of wood will fall off and get automatically added to your inventory.
