Outriders: How Long the Demo Is

The demo for Outriders is finally here and players are able to jump in and give the latest from developers People Can Fly a shot and see if the story-driven looter-shooter is for them. If you’re here, you’re probably wondering just how much content you’re getting for free here and how long the Outriders demo is. Here’s what you need to know.

How Long the Outriders Demo Is

Let’s get right down to business. The Outriders demo will allow you to play the entire first chapter of the game. Your playtime will vary greatly depending on how quickly you choose to blast through the demo.

You could stop and explore and do side quests, or you could just do story mission after story mission. Either way, you should expect to get a taste of a few hours of gameplay from the Outriders demo.

That said, your playtime with the demo could be increased by a factor of four if you choose to experiment with all of Outrider’s four classes: Techomancer, Pyromancer, Devastator, and Trickster.

All of your progress in the demo will carry over to the full game should you choose to purchase it provided you stay within the same family of consoles, ie: PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5 will transfer okay but those save files won’t be transferrable to Xbox Series X.

That said, crossplay is available both in the Outriders demo and also the full game when it releases on April 1.

That’s all you need to know how long the Outriders demo is. Hopefully, that gives you an idea of what to expect and that you enjoy your time playing the demo.
