Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War Season 1 kicks off today, bringing a Battle Pass filled with cosmetics, new multiplayer maps, weapon tuning, and a tweak to the leveling system. For those looking to make the most of those Prestige Keys, you’ll likely be wondering where Black Ops Cold War’s Prestige Shop is. Well, let us run you through what you need to know.
Where to Find the Prestige Shop in Black Ops Cold War
Updated: The Prestige Shop can now be accessed after you prestige for the first time, whether that was in the Pre-Season, or any of the Seasons that follow.
To access the Prestige Shop, go to the ‘Barracks’ tab of the Multiplayer menu. Under the Progression menu, you’ll find the ‘Prestige Shop’ just underneath the ‘Military Ranks’ option. Simply press A/X on Progression and then use your analog stick to select the Prestige Shop.
You’ll then be able to select the ‘Calling Cards’ or ‘Prestige Icons’ options and see what are available to you. You’ll unlock more of each option the higher your level.
Original: It seems as though the Prestige Shop is only unlocked in Black Ops Cold War once you’ve reached the level of ‘Prestige Master’ this season.
According to the blog post detailing the new season, “Season One brings 1,000 new levels to climb after completing Military Ranks, with new Prestige Levels and milestone rewards to unlock along the way. Players can reach up to Prestige 7 in Season One, with the title of Prestige Master waiting at Season Level 200.”
In other words, before you’ll need to reach Season Level 200 and reach Prestige Master before you can unlock the Prestige Shop.
How to Get Prestige Keys in Cold War
Every time you Prestige — or reach other progression milestones in Season 1 — you’ll be awarded a Prestige Key. These are the currency for Black Ops Cold War’s Prestige Shop.
Then all you need to do is head to the Prestige Shop from the Multiplayer screen and spend your hard-earned keys on whatever takes your fancy. We’ve detailed the levels you’ll earn Prestige Keys in Cold War Season 1 below:
- Level 50
- Level 100
- Level 150
- Level 200
- Level 250-1000 (every 50 levels)
