Cyberpunk 2077: Happy Together Quest Guide

Cyberpunk 2077 is the brand new open-world RPG game release from CD Projekt Red, best known for their work on the Witcher trilogy. Unlike The Witcher, however, this is a gritty sci-fi adventure set in a gritty metropolis called Night City, where its inhabitants have all become obsessed with cybernetic implants and body augmentations. You’ll take control of a mercenary named V, who will also have to take on a bunch of side quests along the way. Here’s how to complete the Happy Together quest in Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberpunk 2077 Happy Together Quest Guide

Happy Together is a quest that automatically unlocks and gets added to your journal when V passes by two cops hanging around outside his neighbor’s apartment in his complex. Talk to the cops, and they’ll ask you to try talking to Barry, who’s shut himself off in his apartment after losing a friend named Andrew.

If you try knocking on his door, he won’t answer. But if you skip ahead a few hours, knock again, and Barry should answer.

Head into his apartment and start talking to him. Your goal here is to really listen to him and understand where he’s coming from. Make sure to exhaust all of the blue dialogue options, and don’t just skip ahead by only picking the yellow options.

After talking to him, you’ll have the option to find Andrew’s niche before talking to the cops, Mendez and Petrova. It’s located on the eastern side of Night City, as indicated in the screenshot down below.

Once you reach the columbarium, though, things get slightly tricky. You’ll need to manually check the white walls for Andrew’s name. If you examine the walls closely, you’ll notice that some of them have a light blue glow.

Simply check the blue lights within the quest area, and look for one with the name Andrew on it. Once you find it, you’ll know that’s Andrew’s niche, and V will automatically comment on it and start a conversation with Johnny.

Make sure to complete the conversation with Johnny and choose the empathetic dialogue options if you want to get the happy ending.

At this point, you’ll have the option of either telling the cops the truth or hiding it from them. This will also determine whether you get the good or bad ending to the Happy Together quest.

If you want the good ending, tell the cops the truth, and they’ll realize that they haven’t been very empathetic towards Barry’s emotions. You’ll then be rewarded with some money and Street Cred.

Choosing to lie about Andrew will result in you getting the bad ending, which has Barry committing suicide.

That’s all you need to know about how to complete the Happy Together quest in Cyberpunk 2077. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
