There’s an Awesome Naughty Dog Easter Egg in the Last of Us Part II, of Course

Sony’s Naughty Dog development team is no stranger to throwing in little nods and easter eggs in its video games to celebrate the studio’s past.

In Uncharted 4, you can literally play through a level of Crash Bandicoot on an original PlayStation 1 with Nathan and Elena. The first The Last of Us featured a PS3 in Joel and Sarah’s house, and there were even some Jak & Daxter references littered throughout both of these series that aren’t too hard to spot.

And of course, there’s yet another Naughty Dog reference in the studio’s newest title, The Last of Us Part II.

Oh, and don’t worry. This section of the game is very early on and there are not any big spoilers to worry about, so don’t be afraid to keep reading.

This easter egg can be spotted during an early segment of the game when Ellie and Dina are out on a patrol. Inside one of the buildings, there’s some kind of daycare center for children and alongside two Sony DualShock 3 controllers and some physical Naughty Dog games is none other than a dusty old’ PlayStation 3 console.

You can see the image I snapped this morning down below, as well as some close-ups of the games that are sitting on the table:

You can obviously see a copy of Uncharted 2 (good taste), Uncharted 1, and the Jak and Daxter Collection.

If we come across any more easter eggs or cool references during our playthrough of The Last of Us Part II, we will be sure to share them with you all! And also, if you’ve found anything worth sharing, feel free to drop a comment down below!
