Finally releasing fully today, Valorant is Riot Games’ next big shooter hit. Players clamoured for beta codes a few weeks ago, with Riot only giving them out via Twitch streams, and the game quickly became hugely popular. Now that it’s out, anyone who got access to the beta will probably want to show off their experience in the full game. Here’s everything you need to know about how to redeem beta rewards in Valorant and what they are.
The rewards you get for playing the Valorant Beta are all cosmetic. There are two cards, two titles for your profile, and one Buddy, which is like a keyring that hangs from your weapon in matches. They are called:
- First Title
- Valorant Beta Card
- V1.0 Title
- Beta Pioneer Card
- Closed Beta Gunbuddy Buddy
They don’t add anything to gameplay, but you can equip them to show them off to new players, maybe letting you intimidate them in the process.
How to Redeem Beta Rewards in Valorant & What They Are
When the closed beta was live, before the full release on June 2, all you had to do was hit the XP goals for each of the rewards. It wasn’t too difficult and you just needed to keep playing until they unlocked.
Once everything was unlocked, they’d automatically be added to your account and inventory, allowing you to simply head to those sections of the game to equip them.
Now that the full version is out in the wild, you’re not able to unlock them anymore, and anyone who unlocked them by playing the Valorant beta should simply be able to find them in your account. There’s nothing additional you need to do to get them, so long as you’re using the same account.
That’s everything you need to know about how to redeem beta rewards in Valorant and what they are. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
