PS Plus Free Games Predictions

It’s just about that time for Sony to announce what free games will be included on PS Plus for the upcoming month of March 2020, and just about our time to give our PS Plus predictions.

Last month we saw a really strong line up with The Sims 4, Bioshock: The Collection, and PSVR game Firewall Zero Hour. This marks the first time a PSVR exclusive has been included on PS Plus since Starblood Arena back in February 2018.

For next month, we predict action/adventure game Mirror’s Edge Catalyst from EA seems like a likely choice.

Past EA games offered on PS Plus include Plants vs. Zombies in February 2013, Titanfall 2 in December 2019, The Sims 4 for the current month of February 2020, and much more.

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst released way back in 2016, and considering Sony usually only waits two to three years before it puts a AAA game on PS Plus means this title is way past the time when we would have expected it’s inclusion.

Not to mention the game was recently 75% off on the PlayStation Store (with an extra 25% off with EA Access) from February 5-19 prices at only $4.99.

If you don’t see it next month, then expect it sometime pretty soon.

The Smaller Game – The Vanishing of Ethan Carter

PS Plus Free Games Predictions

After a larger AAA title, usually a smaller indie games makes the list as well.

For March 2020, we predict The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, a first-person story-driven horror/mystery from developer The Astronauts.

First released back in 2014, you play as detective Paul Prospero who receives a letter from a boy named Ethan Carter who appears to be in grave danger.

It’s very similar in style and narrative to past games that have been included on PS Plus like Gone Home in June 2016 and What Remains of Edith Finch in May 2019.

Make sure to check back in the next week or so to see the offical PS Plus free games list when it’s released by Sony.
