Borderlands 3: How to Get Skeksil (Stats & More)

Borderlands 3 Legendary weapons are the cream of a million or strong crop, offering greater firepower thanks to unique attributes elemental damage on top of powerful base damage. Here’s how to get the Skeksil and what’s stats are in Borderlands 3.

Skeksil Stats

The Skeksil is a powerful rocket pistol that is an absolute blast to use. Its best attribute is that it has an unlimited magazine, as well as packing excellent melee and critical hit damage. The weapon can spawn with different elemental types.

Here’s a sample of stats from a Skeksil with a 168 item score:

• Damage – 17
• Accuracy – 66%
• Handling – 57%
• Repair Time – 3.0s
• Fire Rate – 13.86/s
• Shots to Break – 64

Traits

“Get back, Spithead”

• +33% Weapon Damage
• +10% Critical Hit Damage
• +80% Melee Damage
• +1.8x Weapon Zoom
• Highly Effective vs. flesh

Unlimited magazine size, the weapon will heat up and eventually break.

How to Get the Skeksil in Borderlands 3

To get the Skeksil you will need to farm Skrakk, who is located in the Ascension Bluff on Pandora. To find him, stick the right-hand-side when you spawn and enter the area that’s flanked by Scag dens. You should see a ledge that is highlighted by a yellow strip. Climb this ledge and Skrakk will appear.

Unfortunately, Skrakk isn’t guaranteed to drop the Skeksil and it may take some time before he does. He’ll respawn if you leave the area by exiting to to the main menu and rebooting, so just keep doing so until he drops the Legendary. In our play session, it took around six runs.
