TMs make the world go around in Pokemon Sword and Shield. Okay, not literally, but they’ll give you the ability to teach your Pokemon powerful moves to make them more formidable in battle. Things have changes with Pokemon Sword and Shields‘ TMs, though, with them now adopting the HMs property of being resuable, while TRs are now the single-use alternatives.

TM47 – Fake TearsDarkThe user feigns crying to fluster the target, harshly lowering its Sp. Def stat.Inside Circhester’s right-hand hotel. Look for a dancer on second floor with tons of Pikachus.
TM48 – Rock TombRockBoulders are hurled at the target. This also lowers the target’s Speed stat by preventing its movement.Defeat Gym Leader Gordie in Circhester
TM49 – Sand TombGroundThe user traps the target inside a harshly raging sandstorm for four to five turns.Just to the right of Rail Staff Vincent in Galar Mine 2.

TM77 – HexGhostThis relentless attack does massive damage to a target affected by status conditions.Go into the second house on the left in Ballonlea. Speak to the old lady NPC.
TM78 – AcrobaticsFlyingThe user nimbly strikes the target. If the user is not holding an item, this attack inflicts massive damage.Speak to the fire-obsessed artist in Ballonlea wearing a fire-type tracksuit.
TM79 – RetaliateNormalThe user gets revenge for a fainted ally. If an ally fainted in the previous turn, this move’s power is increased.Given to you by Sonia in Hulbury restaurant.
TM80 – Volt SwitchElectricAfter making its attack, the user rushes back to switch places with a party Pokémon in waiting.Earn 20,000 points in any Rotom Rally.
TM81 – BulldozeGroundThe user strikes everything around it by stomping down on the ground. This lowers the Speed stats of those hit.Behind giant rock in left corner of Giant’s Seat Wild Area.
TM82 – ElectrowebElectricThe user attacks and captures opposing Pokémon using an electric net. This lowers their Speed stats.Behind the lighthouse in Hulbury.

TM84 – Tail SlapNormalThe user attacks by striking the target with its hard tail. It hits the target two to five times in a row.Go to the meetup spot in the first Wild Area. Follow the wall left and look for a fallen tree. Check the bottom of it to find TM84.
TM85 – SnarlDarkThe user yells as if it’s ranting about something, which lowers the Sp. Atk stats of opposing Pokémon.Defeat Gym Leader Piers in Spikemuth
TM86 – Phantom ForceGhostThe user vanishes somewhere, then strikes the target on the next turn. This move hits even if the target protects itself.Go to Slumbering Weald. Take a left at the fork, then right. Walk across the tree trunk.
TM87 – Draining KissFairyThe user steals the target’s HP with a kiss. The user’s HP is restored by over half of the damage taken by the target.Defeat Gym Leader Opal in Ballonlea
TM88 – Grassy TerrainGrassThe user turns the ground to grass for five turns. This restores the HP of Pokémon on the ground a little every turn and powers up Grass-type moves.Hammerlocke East Pokemon Center
