Money can be obtained in Luigi’s Mansion 3 in all kinds of ways and it comes in different types. There are gold coins you can collect, literal dollar bills, gems, pearls, gold bars, and a couple more and are essentially found by defeating ghosts, scaring rats, flashing bats, and interacting with everything and we mean everything.
If you want to maximize your profit in Luigi’s Mansion 3, the number one thing that you should be doing is sucking up everything and destroying everything in every single room.
Use the vacuum to suck up random objects, open up drawers, use your plunger attachment to pull things and throw them around. Do not leave a room until you’ve literally checked every inch of it for goodies.
You’ll also run into gold rats and bats throughout the hotel so make sure to use the strobe light attachment on them to get a ton of extra money, but be quick with those because they’ll run away as soon as they’re spotted.
What Is it Used For?
You will not have any use for the money you collect until a few hours into the game. As soon as you collect the elevator button from a pesky mouse, E. Gadd will call you back to his laboratory and will introduce you to the Shopping Network.
The Shopping Network is an option that can only be accessed from E. Gadd’s lab down in the basement and it has a few items for you to purchase.
You can buy a Gold Bone that restores your health if Luigi dies, a cartridge that shows the location of hidden Boo’s and another item that helps you location hidden gems.
