How to Get Season 1 Battle Pass in Fortnite Chapter 2

While it is the start of a new Chapter, things in Fortnite still work mostly the same as they did in the previous Chapter. There’s still a Battle Pass you can get, which allows you to unlock new cosmetics as you progress through the tiers by playing the game naturally and completing objectives.

The first way of getting the Season 1 Battle Pass in Fortnite Chapter 2 is by purchasing it with V-Bucks that you might’ve accumulated from past seasons. If you progressed through enough of the tiers on previous Battle Passes and managed to save up enough V-Bucks, you’ll be able to cash those in and get the new Battle Pass for free, without having to fork over any real money.

Alternatively, and this is probably what most players will end up doing, you could just buy it with real money.

To do this, you’ll first need to purchase some V-Bucks by going to the Store tab from the Lobby menu. The Battle Pass itself costs 950 V-Bucks, while the Bundle will cost you 2,800 V-Bucks.

If you want an easier grind in Fortnite Chapter 2, the Bundle will offer you both the Battle Pass as well as a head start of 25 tiers, allowing you to use a whole host of cosmetics right as the season begins.

As always, you can rise through the tiers of the Pass by completing weekly challenges, and generally just performing well in regular matches.
