How to Get Bright Dust in Destiny 2 Shadowkeep

Being a massive expansion, Shadowkeep comes with new story quests, missions, a new raid, new weapons, and much much more.

Bright dust is back in Shadowkeep but is earned now in a different way. Bounties are gone and dismantling stuff doesn’t earn you dust anymore.

Bright dust can now be earned by completing Crucible, Gambit, and Vanguard weekly and repeatable bounties, which can be completed as many times as you like to reap the benefits.

What Is It Used For?

This type of currency is used in Destiny 2 to purchase weapon ornaments and other items like shaders and ships.

According to Bungie, they have decided to give players bright dust by completing weekly bounties instead of spreading it across other types of bounties (like how it was with the Tess bounties previously) so that players can get the dust without having to check into Destiny 2 every single day to complete the daily quests.

Some other things worth mentioning is that Eververse items will no longer dismantle into Bright Dust and will instead give players legendary shards and glimmer.

And that’s all you need to know about how to get bright dust in Destiny 2 Shadowkeep. For more Shadowkeep content, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki guide right here. Here are some other guides that you should check out that might interest you:
