How to Get Cloud Kill in Borderlands 3
The Cloud Kill SMG is one of the legendary weapons that you can get by playing through the story campaign naturally.
You’ll want to follow the main story until you reach the mission Beneath the Meridian, which is a level 19 mission. Near the end of the mission, you’ll have the option to talk to Ava or just go straight to Lilith to progress the story. Make sure to talk to Ava outside the bridge of the Sanctuary before going to Lilith.
Completing this mission should reward you with the Cloud Kill SMG.
Stats and Perks
The Cloud Kill’s stats during our playthrough were as follows, but note that due to RNG, all stats can vary for players:
- Damage: 22
- Accuracy: 84%
- Handling: 58%
- Reload Time: 2.7s
- Fire Rate: 10.31/s
- Magazine Size: 34
It also had the following perks:
- +15% Weapon Fire Fate
- +35% Weapon Charge Speed
- 1.7x Weapon Zoom
In addition to that, this gun also deals Corrosive damage at 43 DMG/s, making it a pretty handy weapon for armored enemies.
When we got the weapon, it had an item score of 267 and a level requirement of level 19. It’ll be useful for the next two or three main missions before you start finding better weapons to replace it with however, in our experience.
