This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

Wolfenstein Youngblood is out now and, on top of changing the format up to make it co-op, the structure of how you take on missions has changed. You now head out into a semi-open world to complete missions in familiar sectors of Paris. So that you can get around quickly, here’s everything you need to know about how to fast travel between areas in Wolfenstein Youngblood.

The first couple of missions are linear, like you’d expect from the Wolfenstein series, but you soon get access to the Catacombs, which acts as a base of operations for the game.

You’ll soon be sent out to the world, and you’ll frequently be returning to the same places over and over again. Also, some of the missions span multiple locations and, while you can get between some, you have to fast travel between most of them.

How to Fast Travel Between Areas in Wolfenstein Youngblood

To fast travel, simply look for the orange exit signs/door symbol on the map. They will lead you to metro maps, which are often located in underground stations. Head to the locations and hold square if you’re on PS4 (X on Xbox One and Y on Switch) to interact with it.

You will then be able to see all the locations on the map and the missions that are located there. Just choose where you want to go and you’ll be off. If you want to leave the map but the orange exit icon isn’t appearing, you can prompt it to do so by changing what your active mission is.

To do so, press the touchpad, view button, or – button to go to your Journal, and then select a mission that takes place in another location in Wolfenstein Youngblood’s version of Paris. You should then see the icon of where you can go to fast travel between areas.

Alternatively, you can also fast travel back to the Catacombs at almost any time. As long as you’re not in combat or have enemies nearby that see you, you can hold the square/X button to ask to travel back, or press the button to see the journal and then press square/X.
