Just as has been the case in previous Wolfenstein games, you won’t just be shooting humanoid Nazi’s in Youngblood. Especially now that it’s set in an alternate history 1980s, there’s even more whacky Nazi technology to deal with. That includes robots, which is why you’ll want the awesome Elektrokraftwerk to vaporize them to dust. Here’s how to get it.
How to Get Elektrokraftwerk in Wolfenstein Youngblood
Just as with the Laserkraftwerk, the Elektrokraftwerk is necessary to open various doors and crates. You’ll likely have run into several that you can’t access during certain sections of the game. Of course, the weapon is also super powerful and well worth getting anyway.
The Elektrokraftwerk shoots a coil of lightning in an arc which can rebound off different enemies. Therefore, it’s very effective against groups of enemies as well as versus robots and machines.
Where It Is Located
To get the Elektrokraftwerk, you’ll have to take on a mission called Raid Mission: Brother 3, which will take you to the Victory Boulevard area. Before you go, though, the recommended level is at least 25 for this mission, and you should also have upgraded your stealth cloak.
There’s not a great deal to walk you through beyond simply following the waypoint for Brother 3 and entering the facility. What we will say is that you can enter via either the main entrance or underground area, and you can take both an aggressive or stealth playstyle to get in.
If you do go aggressive keep in mind there are Zerstorer’s here that are level IV or V and aren’t easy to take out. Additionally, there are plenty of guards too.
As you make your way through the building, you’ll eventually be contacted by Abby via radio. She’ll inform you that you need to bypass the facility lockdown, and she’ll also mention there’s been some weapons R&D at the location which should yield something useful.
That’s your cue to continue following a new waypoint which will lead you to the Elektrokraftwerk’s location. It’s in a room that has a duct underneath a walkway. Accessing the duct and crawling through to the other side will reveal the weapon’s location.
