What Is Night Soil Used For in Dragon Quest Builders 2?

Night Soil is a resource that you’ll need to use pretty consistently in Builders 2, as it’s used to make Worm Food and fertilizer. You’ll need to use it in a lot of main quests and side quests, so make sure to stay stocked up on the resource.

Getting Night Soil in Dragon Quest Builders 2

Luckily, Night Soil isn’t very hard to find in Dragon Quest Builders 2, and it just requires a little bit of searching.

The easiest and more natural way of finding the resource is by searching for clumps of dung on the ground in Furrowfield Bog. Just search around and keep an eye out for little brown clumps on the ground, then break one.

Once you break a clump, your friend Malroth will start to automatically track down any nearby Night Soil and harvest it, making it much easier. Similarly, you can also get the resource as a drop from defeating Walking Corpses.

The other method of getting Night Soil is a little bit less, savory, so to say. First off, build a bathroom at any village or town, then wait until the toilet pot becomes full. Empty the pot and you’ll get some Night Soil. Kinda gross, huh?

That’s everything you need to know about how to get Night Soil in Dragon Quest Builders 2. For even more tips, tricks, and guides make sure to search Twinfinite, or you can check out our Dragon Quest Builders 2 guide wiki.
