When talking about fatalities it’s all about the blood, gore, and over-the-top nonsense. Mortal Kombat 11 delivers on all of these fronts.

Shao Kahn’s fatality is one of the more gruesome to grace the series thus far — and that’s saying something! Using his giant hammer to knock his opponents head through their entire body and out the other side is disturbing but oddly satisfying.

When the camera shows the victim’s head flying towards the screen, it really cements what an absolute nutjob Shao Kahn is. And yet I find myself still watching it on loop, over and over, grimly addicted to the carnage…
