Deacon’s motorbike is an integral part of your experience in Days Gone. It’s his companion of sorts, enabling him to traverse the dangerous lands and escape Freakers with relative ease. It’s not invincible though, and if you’re too rough with it you’ll need to spend some time fixing it up before it breaks completely. Here’s how to repair the motorbike in Days Gone.
How to Repair the Motorbike in Days Gone
Repairing the motorbike can only be done once it’s taken enough damage to actually warrant needing some TLC. This is indicated by the wrenches icon in the bottom right corner of the screen, next to your fuel tank indicator.
The lower this drops, the more damage the bike has taken, and as such, the longer and more resources you’ll need to actually make the repairs and get it back to perfect condition.
Before you can go about repairing the bike, though, you’ll need to make sure you’ve got Scraps. This is essentially metal and other bits and pieces that will obviously come in handy when it comes to making repairs on a motorbike.
Scrap can be found most commonly in cars and abandoned vehicles, and you can get it by walking around to the front of the car and interacting with it to pop open the hood.
Alternatively, Scraps can sometimes just be found laying around the world, so be sure to search every nook and cranny you come across in case any is tucked away.
Once you’ve got Scraps, you’re almost ready to make the repairs to your bike. Simply walk over to it and press and hold Circle to repair it.
Keep in mind if you’re holding a fuel tank while doing this, Deacon will probably try and refuel the bike instead, so make sure the Circle button prompt appears on the frame of the bike, rather than over the fuel tank by the handlebars.
That’s pretty much everything you need to know on how to repair the motorbike in Days Gone. For more tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to check out our ever-expanding guide wiki.
