Where the Angel Statue Is in the Graveyard in Days Gone’s Out of Nowhere Mission

During your opening hours within Days Gone‘s open world, you’ll be tasked with heading to a graveyard in search of an angel statue. This is all part of the ‘Out of Nowhere’ mission within the game, and you’ll essentially be investigating the angel statue to try and find Leon’s stash. Here’s what you need to know to track down the angel statue in the graveyard.

Actually making your way towards the angel statue is incredibly easy, as long as you know what you’re looking out for. However, the problem is, it can be easy to completely miss it, as its telltale wings are somewhat folded behind its back. Fear not, though, we’ll tell you exactly where to go.

Once you’ve arrived at the graveyard, a cutscene will play out showing Deacon parking his bike up. When you’re put back in control of the action, you’ll want to head through the gates of the cemetery and take the first immediate left.

Here, you’ll see a Freaker munching on a corpse on the floor. Sneak up behind it and stealth attack it. This will eliminate it in one and as long as you remain quiet, you won’t alert any other nearby Freakers.

Now that this has been taken care of, you want to hop over the damaged bit of wall that the Freaker was munching on its pray next to. After hopping the fence, continue walking forward and you should see the large white statue that’s seen better days in front of you. You can check out what angel statue you’re looking for in Days Gone in the screenshot down below.

What to Do When You Find the Angel Statue in Out of Nowhere

Upon tracking down the angel, you’ll need to find Leon’s Stash. This is pretty easy to do, as all you need to do is walk over towards where the statue is and look on the ground. Press R3 to activate your Survival Vision and you’ll spot an item you can check out on the floor. You can also see it tagged in the image above by a magnifying glass icon on the stairs. Go ahead and interact with this.

You’ll now have a crowbar you can use to bust open some of the nearby tombs. We opened the one closest to where we found the crowbar and Leon’s Stash was sitting inside. After grabbing this, make your way back to Deacon’s bike and hop on board. You can avoid conflict with the Freakers that start moving in by simply running past them.

At this point Deacon will then spot a helicopter flying overhead. Follow the route on your mini-map or look out for the helicopter flying above if you want a more immersive experience. Upon reaching here, you’ll then need to sneak past the various NERO scientists in suits. You cannot deal damage to them, and you cannot be spotted, so keep to the bushes and follow the path to your marked objective.

Upon reaching here, you’ll then need to stand near to the two NERO scientists and eavesdrop in on their conversation to find out what’s going on. When you’ve listened to both parts of the conversation, sneak your way back to your bike and avoid the NERO scientists again to complete Out of Nowhere mission in Days Gone.
