How to Complete All Season 8 Week 7 Challenges in Fortnite
Fortnite’s week 7 challenges have just dropped in Season 8, granting yet another batch of Battle Stars to help you level up your Battle Pass. This week’s challenges are a bit unusual, so you might be looking for some ways to complete them quickly. Here’s how to complete all Fortnite Season 8 week 7 challenges easily.
Challenge List
As per usual, we’ve included a quick screenshot of the week 7 challenge list from within Fortnite itself, just so you know this is, in fact, the real deal, and not a leaked list that’s been changed at the very last minute.
From a quick glance, some players may be disappointed to find there’s no ‘Search’ or collect-a-thon-esque challenge that needs to be done this week. Instead, the list seems pretty straightforward, meaning players shouldn’t find it too difficult to get one step closer to the Ruin skin. Anyway, let’s get on with running through how to complete these challenges nice and quickly.
How to Complete the Week 7 Challenges Easily
- Stage 1: Damage opposing players while riding a zipline (1)
- Deal Damage to Players from Above (500)
- Damage Opposing players with the pickaxe (100)
- Eliminate Opponents in Different Named Locations (5)
- Search Chests at Loot Lake or Snobby Shores (7)
- Visit Pirate Camps in a single match (3)
- Stage 1: Visit Junk Junction and The Block in a single match (2)
The first of the week 7 challenges is arguably going to be its trickiest to complete. You’ll need to damage opposing players while riding a zipline. Considering ziplines aren’t next to all that many busy named locations, this does make things a little trickier. We suggest exploring the northeast and far west sections of the map, particularly around Frosty Flights at the start of a game to help you get this one.
The next two challenges require you to damage opposing players from above and with the pickaxe. We recommend hopping into the Team Rumble LTM, as you can respawn and have plenty of tries with your loadout getting these, rather than having to jump in and out of games and start from scratch each time you might fail.
The next week 7 challenge is all about getting eliminations at different named locations. Fortunately, these don’t have to be in the same match, so simply head to whichever named locations you prefer and pick off easy enemies at the beginning of a game. Land on weapons and immediately look for anyone trying to run for cover or to a nearby chest and finish them off.
Similarly, you’ll need to go ahead and open chests at Loot Lake or Snobby Shores locations. Again, try landing at one of these named locations in a game of Team Rumble, as you’ll have less competition for opening chests if your team is dropping on the west side of the map.
Surprise surprise, there’s another Pirate Camp challenge. We’re as bored of these as you are at this point, and as always, you can check our pirate camps locations guide to give you a helping hand tracking them down.
The final challenge is another staged one which is all about visiting two named locations in a single match. For this, we recommend focusing on getting some weapons and shield in as soon as possible before looking for the closest nearby vehicle. Hop inside and make it your mission to reach the other named location. Avoid busy named locations and stick to the outskirts of the map where possible.
