Capcom’s Onimusha Warlords Remastered’s decoder chests pose several challenging questions to players over the course of their playtime, but being asked to name the mysterious location where the ogres gather is a particularly tricky one.

Presented by a decoder chest found near the gold and silver plate door during a Kaede gameplay segment, the question is one which can only be deciphered by tracking down all of the Byakko translation books.

These books are white in color and can be found scattered throughout the areas unlocked during the middle portion of the game’s story.

After obtaining all of the books, it will be revealed that the mysterious location where the ogres meet is the “Chasm of Dimensions.”

This can be entered into the decoder chest by selecting the fifth, seventh and second choices from the selection offered to the player.

Doing so will open the chest and present the player with a magic jewel which can increase their overall magic meter and the number of times they can perform magical attacks with each melee weapon.

It should be noted that this particular decoder chest riddle can only be solved by Kaede, as the area becomes inaccessible to Samanosuke after players regain control of him.

It should also be noted that while the Byakko books do build upon the game’s lore and provide the answer for players to unlock the decoder chest, the chest can be unlocked without having all of them in your possession.

As such, if you’re missing one book but feel you can answer the chest’s riddle without it, you are more than free to do so.
