Kingdom Hearts III, January 2019

The second half of January 2019 is when the big hitters arrive. Starting on Jan. 15, The Final Season of the Walking Dead continues, following the collapse of Telltale, and it is being developed by a skeleton crew at Skybound.

Also pleasing fans of narrative focused, episodic titles, will be the second episode of Life Is Strange 2. Moving away from Chloe and Max, the sequel follows two brothers on an adventure of their own.

Jan. 25 sees the release of Resident Evil 2. Following the success on Resident Evil VII in 2017, Capcom has completely remade what many people consider to be the scariest game in the series.

It doesn’t keep the first-person camera of the most recent game, opting for an over-the-shoulder view instead, but it will look better than you’d ever expect. Prepare for tons of jumps scares and to see Raccoon City like never before.

Finally, releasing on Jan. 29 is not only the biggest game of January but one of the biggest of 2019. It has been more than a decade in waiting, but Kingdom Hearts III is finally about to release.
