Here’s everything you need to about how to sleep in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

With such an expansive, open world to explore in ancient Greece, you’re bound to have a lot to do. Ubisoft has made Assassin’s Creed Odyssey the premier RPG experience for the series, and naturally you’re wondering how you can sleep. Perhaps, you even want to pass the time by doing this.

Well, I’m here to unfortunately tell you that while it’s an RPG, it’s not at that level just yet. You can’t sleep in the game. You can wait and pass the time if you’re sick of the darkness of night or lightness of day. But to actually go to a bed, press a button, and doze off? Not in this misthios’ life!

No sleep for you! Only meditation!

In order to meditate, you simply need to press and hold the touchpad if you’re playing on PS4. If you’re on Xbox One, go ahead and hold the Views button on your controller.

While Kassandra or Alexios won’t outright slumber, they will meditate 12 hours forward in time.

If it’s night, it will become day, and vice versa. It’s perfect for if you prefer to play under one time or another. You can also jump forward in time a little bit when you call for your ship, the Adrestia. But it won’t be as much as when you meditate.

So, yeah, sorry to be the bearer of bad news if you were looking for roleplaying needing to get some shut eye. But hey, if all you wanted was a change of time, then you’ve got it with meditation!

That’s all there is to sleep in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Again, sorry to rain on your parade with this information. But, if you’re looking for more help with the game, you should check out our Assassin’s Creed Odyssey guide wiki! It’s packed with tips and tricks like these:
